5-OHH - July 11th 1994 - November 15th 2011

On November 15th my sister Megan put to rest her cat of 17 years, 5-OHH.

If you have ever spent any time with Megan, then you most likely spent time with 5-OHH. She was one of the friendliest and most loving creatures we have ever had in our family and she will be deeply missed.

A lot of you know that my sister has played a big part in keeping things moving over here. Without her dedication and endless assistance, I'm certain that I would still be shipping things from 4 years ago.

The passing of 5-OHH marks the end of an era and the start of a brand new one for Megan and I know 5-OHH will always be just over her shoulder, making sure things go her way.
We'll never forget you Fivey.

  2. My condolences to Megan and all of you guys. I'm a crazy cat guy myself and lost one of mine earlier this year. I'm know 5-OHH must have had a wonderful life as part of your clan! Hang in there!

  3. I'm sorry to hear that... may little 5-OHH rest in peace, in his own personal heaven of catnip mice and massive balls of yarn :(

  4. My condolences to Megan. A few months back, I lost the little dog my father left me when he died. I just hope she got to be with her during her last moments, and that her legacy will live on.

    All my best.

  5. My condolences go to Megan as well.
My cat "Flash" turned 11 this year and while he's still in great shape, he has been sleeping more. I know in age he's over the half way mark. Having a pet that long in your life is a great thing but it's hard to see them go.

  6. It hurts alot to loose a pet, I'm also a very big cat fan & Beth & I own 2. They're both young yet ( 2 1/2 years & 10 months old) but when their time comes decades from now, I know I'll be pretty broken up. I wonder if this is how immortals feel, watching those they care about grow old & die before they do. 17 is a good age for a cat, not too shabby to make it to that bench mark. At an animal shelter in 2006 when I was 26, I saw two of the oldest cats I ever met: one female was 27 years old, and her male "kitten" was 25. That means that cat was born in 1978, and her kitten was born in 1980. They've since passed away, but those were too ancient cats. Just remember the fond times with her Megan, and you'll never be without her. =^.^=

  7. Sorry to hear that, please pass on my condolences. Both my little buddies, Athena and Gremlin, are gone now, I was hit pretty hard by it both times. I'm sure she will be missed, keep in mind and heart all the love she gave you in her 17 years.
