Shop Works

While working at the shop last week I uncovered this old prototype for a Renegade Gobon that never made it into full production. The core design was meant to mimic the plated surface that covered the Capture Rigs (and everything else) from Rechlen and Aves. I guess this could be considered another one for the Lost Projects File!

  2. Love that texture on the Gobon. And, hey, nice hat Glyan! Out of curiosity, what is the grey/red (head?) from that's behind the Glyan?

  3. Neat stuff! Ever consider revisiting the renegades? That's an awesome sculpt and I'd love to see that released sometime. Hell, I'd love to get a hold of one of their heads! I regret missing out on those guys!

  5. Everytime I see pictures of Rechlen, I hope for the drop when he'll be available in Glyan size.

    Great work, Matt!

  6. Amazing works as always, Matt!
Much like Redmao I hope to see Rechlen in a drop when I see a pic of him.
Love that hat on the Glyan. Though I thought it was a Lost Project head.

  7. So let's see: there's Blue Eye's hat, there's the alternate Galaxxor head in new colors, a pair of belts that look compatible with Travelers and Glyans, and a wood mock-up that, for whatever reason, reminds me of the body of the two-wheeled vehicle Rechlen and Aves would pilot. Did I miss anything?

Either way, a return of the Renegades, or just something to harken back to that plated feel, would be great! That Gobon in particular looks pretty crazy . . . just how would the hands and feet look, I wonder?

  10. I too hope for the day we'll see a production level Rechlen. And those belt looking thingies are intriguing for sure.
