Lock On!

The new store is live!

The response on Stryker Lock has been absolutely intense, and we will be placing another order with Mori for a second edition of these two figures this week. We understand that the stock was burned through extremely fast, but please be patient as we adjust to meet demand. This is the very first domestic run of this series, and the numbers were already four times higher than anything we have previously run with RealxHead. Please leave your feedback here on the blog and we will collect all the information to relay to Mori.

Thank you for the positive response to this new project.

  2. Are you kidding me?! 30 seconds sellout! I had them both and lost them in 30 sec from the store going live. Sad and disappointed. Congrats to who got them. Man o man... bummed.

  3. Lost out on both as well. Guess I have more money to spend on the alcohol I'm now going to drown my sorrows in.

  4. Well, if you and Mori had any doubts about this project . . . worry no more!

Also, just wondering: is the blaster arm on these guys a nod to the original Phase Arm design? (The one shown on some long-ago Buildman concept sketch.) It didn't click until now that it's what it could be.

  5. That was quick, congrats on the knockout design on this guy!
We've seen sellouts in the past and the return of those sought-after figures later. People might be a little down over missing them now, but they'll be just that happy to get them later :)

  8. Hey Matt, since you asked for constructive comments: 1) You know better than any of us about production numbers and the business so please remember that you run an incredible business and you are always very understanding and accessible. With that said, I think frustration builds when things like a 30 sec sellout happens because there has been alot of hype about these figures this week and we (the fans) sometimes feel set up for failure. I'm not sure there is anything you can do, it's just a bummer that there is so much disapointment when more people don't get the product (than actually do get the item) that you're offering.

  9. And thanks for ordering more so we have another shot at these. I'll try again next time.

  10. Got here an hour late, and damn! I was wondering if they'd resonate with people but clearly they did. Totally in for these guys whenever the second run happens.

  11. Matt - Please make sure that there is a variance, even if a small variance, in the second run. I would like to be able to discern the first wave from the second wave. I'm sure that the collectors that were lucky enough to get their orders in tonight will appreciate the distinction as well. Thanks in advance.

    1. I believe these are actually wave 3 of these figures and that waves 1 and 2 of these same figures were released in Japan previously (someone correct me if I'm wrong) as they've been for sale from Japanese retail sites for weeks now. With my experience, there's always some level of variance from figure to figure with RxH, primarily in the shading/panel line pant application so each and every figure should be unique to some small degree.

Can't wait for the next release Matt, sorry to have missed these but proud to see you stepping up and taking care of your fans so swiftly with the reorder!

    2. There's really no point to being able to tell the waves apart since these were released in Japan already. In reality, if the second drop had a color change somewhere on it, it would be far rarer than the first drop, since the ones we got are identical to the ones in Japan. People who missed out due to the rush deserve a chance to get what they were hoping for, not a replacement.

  12. Wow, I was hoping to get the Crossborg, but I was cartjacked by 930. I'm glad to see there is another order, crossing my fingers on getting it.

If there was a doubt about how popular it would be, worry no more. But we do need more RealxHead release

  13. I was like a freaking shark circling my prey, in the minutes leading up to the drop I was constantly refreshing the page until about just a shade (literally) past 9:30 my jaw dropped as I managed to get one in my cart and pay for it. I couldn't believe my luck! But after what happened to me with the last drop (my own phone issues, no complaints!) I feel like this was a big win for me. Super super happy to hear more are on the way as I'd also like to get the Crossborg also. Way to go Matt and Mori!!!

  14. Thanks for doing a re-order of the release. It sucks for the flippers and it's awesome for the fans. I couldn't care less whether there is a distinction between runs. I just want a Crossborg before it phases out of my cart and into the nether-realms!

  15. Totally snoozed on the drop and read that there was a quick sell out!

Kudos to Matt & Mori for creating a stellar product that have the fans going crazy to get these. I will make sure to be at the site come next launch.

    =)

  16. While I love collecting these, I'd rather keep Glyos about the joy of toys versus collectible status symbols. These were created for fun, and I for one am very happy they're getting a new run, and that there probably won't be any distinction between runs.
