On The Horizon

Get ready for Bit Figs to invade!

Matt and I are thrilled to present Bit Fig Pheyden, the first character in a new line of collectible mini figures available next month. Series 1 will be produced via Leblox, an on-demand 3D printing app based in Paris. Download Leblox for free and look for Bit Figs to rollout Monday, October 5th!

In addition to the 3D prints, there will be a limited number of hand cast figures available soon. Sign up here to receive first access and release info.

This is just the beginning of the Bit Figs journey. More big things ahead for these tiny travelers...

Edit: Original post was deleted and had to be recovered, apologies for broken links.

  1. Can we get a size comparison photo? I'd like to see how big they are compared to a regular traveler.

    1. Bit Fig Pheyden stands 1.5" tall in his "standard" form. However, the Leblox app will allow you to print them at virtually any size you want!

More photos will be popping up all month.

  2. An unorthodox distribution method, but an awesome one nonetheless! So the file will be made available through the LeBlox community, or...?

    1. The designs will be available from my Leblox account, where you can browse the characters, play with the 3D models (by adding them to photos and such) and order prints.

This is certainly an experimental release, but hopefully the on-demand element will allow people to explore and collect them at their own pace. Full details of the release will be posted soon.

      Thanks Roy!

  3. I applaud you for going down this road- this is truly the future of toys, and while there are no doubt still some things to improve upon, it is leading us to the day where we can simply browse countless designs and have anything we want made at our fingertips.

  4. Man that Leblox app has a horrible user interface. Extremely unfriendly. :(
