Thank You!!!

Thank you for making Wave 56 a fun one! The store held up without any major glitches, and the supply numbers seemed to match up pretty well with what folks were after. The Special Edition OSM Orbitron moved at a steady clip, and it was great to see that you guys were excited about the OSM returning after their extended break.

The significance of seeing an OSM mold run again is something that's hard to adequately describe knowing all the assorted details behind the modern line, but I'm extremely grateful to Mel, Gary and the 4H for working together with us to make it happen. I absolutely love the OSM, and owe much of my original inspiration to produce action figures to the extraordinary Mel Birnkrant, whose artistic vision has been affecting my creativity in only the most positive ways since I received a mysterious Colorforms set called "Space Warriors" back in the late 70's. I still look at the image on that box and feel excited to create and play, even after all this time. Expect to see some more Special Edition OSM as 2016 rolls along.

It's hard to believe that we're just over a month away from our 9th anniversary of running this ship. I know that we don't always present things exactly the way that the more mainstream companies do, and that our style is a bit eccentric at times, but it's the curves in the long road that make the drive a little more interesting. We don't ever take anything for granted around here, and we're fully aware that nothing is a guarantee, especially as the hardcore collecting community continues to shrink and the cybernetic society that connects the world takes an even greater hold on all our lives and interests.

No matter what the future holds, our clan is eternally thankful to be allowed to continue this adventure with each of you.

  1. Thank you for enriching our lives month after month with joy excitement and anticipation. The feel of nostalgia and a simpler time being a child walking down that toy isle with my imagination running wild you create is much appreciated in this fast paced crazy hectic life we call being a grown up!

  3. I'm utterly delighted to have found bonus OSM Cyclops (and Gemini) weapons with the Protoclone! I hope I didn't miss any others packed with other figures!

  4. Matt and company, Glyos, to me, is such a such a special experience. Every month I look forward to what you have in store for us fans. Every month I am inspired to play and create with your creations the way you mention the OSM inspired you. I look forward to more Onell OSM offerings this year. I just received this drop through the mail, and I am blown away by the Cosmic Wave Glyarmor and Armorvor. So cool. I haven't been around for the full 9 years, 7 of them at least, and I still appreciate all the incredible work that you put into it every month. There's not a day that I don't think about or interact with my Glyos collection. Pretty amazing. A Traveler has been in my pocket everyday for those seven plus years. It's not only the figures that I admire, but the Passcodes, the comics, the blog entries, the relationships made with other fans. I try not to take it for granted, so thank you so much for this incredible toy line. As always, I am looking forward to what the future of Glyos holds!

  6. *Manly hugs and all that mushy stuff* With that out of the way...
This is an example of how drops without prelists should go. In many ways it's more enjoyable than the list: to see the cool stuff come up in full color, buy what one obviously needs, but then contemplate (maybe even sleep on) what was there, letting the imagination run with possibilities. Then to be able to come back to the store and pick up what Axis joints and Crayboth one needs for the builds that germinated over time. That is ideal.
Of course, you, Onell, finding that balance between demand and stock levels is a tightrope walk -- one you pulled off beautifully this go around. All smiles and two thumbs up!
And Diversus Crayboth is a wonderful color combo, he keeps drawing my gaze as I work at my desk.

  7. Thanks for providing us with a Pheyden at $8 besides the one in the buildstation. It helps us economically challenged. Very much appreciated.

  8. Thanks for sharing your creativity!

Are there any plans for more Stryker Lock releases or will those figures sit on the sidelines for now?

  9. I concur with most of what Pete & Cappy had to say. It has been a lovely nostalgic journey to say the least and looking forward to many more to come. I love the friendships I have made Thanks to the Glyoverse and consider you all like family. Keep on keeping on!
