I also really love these sculpts. I'd purchase these in half a heartbeat. Also, adding a smaller scale "human" figure would make it even easier to make vehicles and mech suits and things from the larger existing Glyos stuff. It's win all around!Ralph A. We have some fairly thin parts already in production -like the Buildman skinny left arm and the Traveler's left open fingers-so the PVC can take the beating. These would absolutely be "pocket" toys. The key is the durometer of the PVC. If the plastic is just soft enough, then it will not snap. Just don't try to take them apart in freezing weather, that is the Kryptonite of PVC.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834783583579792755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-851241126807150374.post-21495612620513712292010-12-19T23:59:17.960-05:002010-12-19T23:59:17.960-05:00That would be awesome, Matt. I actually refined the sculpts a bit a few years ago because we almost pulled the trigger back then (I still have the masters). Even though they are smaller, they are not crazy tiny. The paint apps would be tight, as the same team would be making them that does all our stuff right now- as well as the new painted OSM. The apps would be a bit more complex, but most of the parts would be shot in the basic colors of the characters. If we do this, I have a few ideas about how to maximize the mold so that we can get a kind of Standard "human" Glyan as well. Something that we could all customize like crazy. Ultimately, I would like to get some of the female characters from Rechlen and Aves produced if things did OK.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834783583579792755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-851241126807150374.post-71682080800201510512010-12-19T23:24:30.409-05:002010-12-19T23:24:30.409-05:00I would love to finally get some of these 2" ...I would love to finally get some of these 2" scale figures. It's great to hear all your collective thoughts on this subject.
As far as the aesthetics, this expansion would just add some more character specific parts to the range. The pieces would be a little smaller, but would still use the same universal fit function. For instance, Rechlen would have functions at his hips, waist, shoulders, middle back and neck. He would probably come packed with some extra backpacks, heads and some hand held items. Combined with a Buildman you could make some armored suits, vehicles, cyborgs and those kinds of things. Creating some smaller versions of the Travelers and Callgrim would also be on deck. It could be an easier way to offer more characters as well and fits right in with the expanding story lines.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834783583579792755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-851241126807150374.post-76938123428771731532010-12-19T15:42:14.073-05:002010-12-19T15:42:14.073-05:00Out of curiosity, how would the smaller scale figu...Out of curiosity, how would the smaller scale figures work interchangeably with the larger Glyos figures we've seen so far? I remember seeing plans for a Blue Eye figure that used the same joint system, but how would the difference in scale affect the aesthetic of combined pieces?

Also, in either scale, it'd be nice to see some of these legendary characters appear in Glyos.
