Founders Part II

Resurrected from the "Secret Heap" in our warehouse, the remaining three Founders make their return! Like the previous four Founders figures, these guys are made from the super hard first generation PVC plastic and have imperfect paint applications. The Phase Pheydens may also contain an occasional air bubble as well. A point of interest concerning the Reverse Exellis is that this version has never been offered online before. He was only available at a few conventions and every so often in the Junkshop by chance. Once the last of these Founders figures are gone, it will signal the end of the original first generation stock. Hope you guys have fun with these little buggers!

I hope you're keeping at least one of each of these guys for yourself, Matt... just for posterity

  2. As a relatively recent convert, I'm grateful for releases like these. Makes catching up on all the Glyos goodness much easier. Thanks, Matt and company. :)

  5. Thanks guys! If you want to use these to build with, I have a couple suggestions. Take a small box (like the folding type we send out) and cut about a 5 inch slice into a mini flap on the top of it. Throw your FEMALE parts in the box and then stick the front of a hairdryer in the flap on the top of the box (be careful) once the box is closed. After about 20-30 seconds of applied heat the box will get warm and the higher temp will soften up the hard parts. Use the rigid male limbs to assemble the figures and things should go much easier. Just heat in intervals and watch the temp on the hairdryer. We call this the "Hot Box" method (yeah it's a loaded nickname). It will make customizing easier and more efficient when using the harder figures.

  6. As far as other styles making return appearances, it is a definite possibility. Andromeda probably will not come back though, he was a truly rare piece and a pain to put together on the production side. Pulse on the other hand....

  7. One more quick comment about the RXH releases. The prices on the figures will not be the standard resell prices that you see on RXH. These are true collaborative projects, and Mori wants to make sure everybody has a chance at these figures without breaking the bank. The minis have added articulation at the arms (and even the waist on Pheyden/Sarvos) so their manufacturing cost is slightly higher. That being said the price will still be under $40 USD. The current price on a mini with no arm articulation here in the USA is $40 USD. We will be bringing the retail on the RXH crossover series as low as possible, per orders from Mori himself. These will not appeal to everyone, but our goal is to have something for all tastes and budgets. The runs will be very limited to begin with and based on the response we will evolve.

  8. Lol Hot box! Hmm :-x Is that why you make some strange food creations? LMAO. Glad to hear that more founders "may" come back. Very happy to be getting older figs and with a crazy price to boot. You keep thanking us all along. I would like to thank you for making so many wonderful things and for everything that you do for us Glyos Fans

  9. Order up! It's great to able to get the original figures for the collection. And ones with such customizing potential, like Phase Pheyden are sure to sell quickly.

Thanks for the Hotbox tips, Matt. I've been known to put figure parts in a colander and set them over the radiator --- works like a champ but drives Mrs Cappy nutz. heh.

  10. I just wanna say how excited I am to see these back in the shop. although the original stock plastic makes building a bit more difficult I love that i can carry the figures around in my pocket and not have to worry about them falling apart and everything. oldskool ftw
