The Gendrone War
The new store is live!
Note: Please place only ONE ORDER WITHIN THE FIRST HOUR tonight. We usually see an increased volume of traffic during a new release and need everyone's cooperation to ensure things operate smoothly. After the initial dust settles, we will lift all limits. Thanks for your understanding and support. Have fun!
Torn Asunder
Enyriun's philosophies echo closely to those of Argen's, minus the growing need for dominion over all other lifeforms in the quest for complete transcendence. Argen's reliance on the Villser-born Axis Tech initially granted tremendous power to the Gendrone Forces. Unfortunately, without the proper controls in place, the Axis Tech also linked those that utilized it to something driven almost solely by the need to evolve through domination..the Villser Virus itself.
The Renegades sensed the darkness within Argen when they first met and eventually sent their "children", the Phaseons, with Argen in the guise of support, but with a secret protocol to neutralize the rebellious gendrone in the event that things spun out of control.
What the Renegades did not predict was that most of the Phaseons would come to truly believe in Argen's core ideology.
Only Enyriun remained absolutely dedicated to the original Phaseon mission, determined to avoid a terrifying vision of the future that had been granted to the lone Phaseon upon the moment of its awakening into true sentience.
This vision of a "Gendrone Empire" was also experienced by the Crayboth Twins, Gryganull and Grellanym, bonding them to Enyriun through an unprecedented bio mechanical psychic link.*

Mission Details
When we were first putting this selection together months ago, the internal craze around here was the vintage Manglors toy line. Originally developed by Ideal back in 1984, the Manglors still stand as one of the stranger creations in the history of toys. "Made of the strangest stuff on Earth", a funky material called Sorbothane, the driving play mechanic of the line was based around actually tearing the figures apart and putting them back together again. The "memory" of the material was supposed to then "heal" the body back into its original form and position once the pieces were pushed back together. Sort of like a bio-fit function. Well, as many of us who had the toys discovered, they really didn't work like the TV ads and packaging claimed. I recall staring at my Manglord in silence after I had torn him limb from limb and attempted to reassemble his dull green body to no avail. Suffice it to say, old Manglord lived the rest of his shortened life held together by medical tape and a fair amount of childhood malice.
Due to the major flaws in its play pattern and some seriously intense competition on the toy shelves at the time, the Manglors only lasted for two waves. Manglors eventually faded into obscurity as the renamed "Vulcalors", destined to languish in the toy shops of Italy as the American market careened towards the Age of Mario.
I've always wanted to see the Manglors resurface, so when our friend and collaborator John Kent over at Toyfinity secured the rights to regenerate the property, I went a little nuts at the thought of bringing the characters back to life -and this time with no medical tape!
As we steadily work behind the scenes between our two companies on resurrecting the Manglors, the creative influence of these bizarre beasts slowly finds its way into our regular operations. The strange muted color hues that Skeleden is now sporting are directly inspired by the original Manglors character toys as well as the stunning Ken Kelly paintings that graced the Manglor boxes.
Accompanying the vintage toy vibe this Sunday will be Argen and the Gendrone Bio Hunters (including the return of the reconfigured Robo Force kit Gendrone Force Defender), now forged in the new Gunmetal Silver PVC that we have been experimenting with recently. The factory really nailed the metallic look with this production run, with just enough of that cool but hard to capture light and dark balance that shifts so drastically in different environments. Argen and Manglor Skeleden have not left my pocket since I received them.
Good grief, that was a Manglor download. I suppose it's time for the list!
We are on track for this Sunday, June 14th at 9:30PM EDT.

Thank You!!!
What a whirlwind! The turnout for the Tuesday night release was intense, with some heavy traffic flowing through the store. Thank you for the solid response to the new round of stuff!
Along with the hustle on the site, there was also some old school activity on the blog over the last few days, with both positive and negative feedback being shared. Though a few comments were pretty charged up, the open lines of communication between all of us are always 100% encouraged and respected, even if sometimes things get a little bit bananas. We are dedicated to making you happy, but for some of you that might not happen until after you give our system a chance. For everyone new to our end of the pond, we're truly interested to hear what you think.
Over the next month, we'll be focusing on a couple projects that are in various stages of progress, a major one being a crossover with the incomparable Mori Katsura, the creative genius behind Real X Head Japan. Mori and I have been working away on a new "series blending" concept we call Stryker Lock. Starting next week we'll be posting about the details behind Stryker Lock including when we'll be releasing the first domestic wave of these new figures. They travel great in the pocket and make for some fun scale warping characters, depending on what world you decide to have them visit.
Wrapping up, our team has been steadily working away since Tuesday night, concentrating on processing and packing all the orders. After we hit the post office tomorrow morning, just about everything should be shipped out. Major props to Michelle for her Rain Man-like invoicing abilities and the Megan/ Pj/ Marcus shipping juggernaut! I would be in a van down by the river without them.
Marcus has also once again brought his mutant pixel mixing abilities to the table, producing the new animation you see above! From the looks of it, Elder Exellis may have acted too late, as a Rebellion slowly rises to become an Empire.
Thank you from the whole family for making this such an exciting release! As always, Glyos owes its continued existence to each and every one of you.

Mission Details
This final release for 2014 has been in the works since the beginning of the year, completing the series of return visits to some of our older assortments. The previous Pappysoup Volkriun selections each hold a special place with us over here, especially the 2012 5th Anniversary round. We generated a lot of crazy content internally and with our longtime collaborators for that big wave, capped off by the introduction of the first production Armorvor. I had hoped to have the new Armorvor head ready to accompany this Volkriun Space Force crew, but Captain Ruger and the green machines will have to wait just a little longer to discover what new activities the Armorvors are involved in.
To spice things up Argen has returned from a little Gendrone walkabout along with his cohort, Enyriun, this time with both of them sporting an "Ultra" metallic pearlescent gold look including full detail lines. This matches right up with the recent Sectivorus Supreme Kabuto Mushi by the Godbeast himself, Marty "Totinos" Hansen.
Something a little different, as far as paint applications go, is also in the mix for Sunday, materializing in the form of a special Redlaw Phanost. Shot in clear purple (Henshin inspired), this particular Phanost has painted metallic silver accents, and then a black detail line around all those silver areas as well as the lower portions under his eyes. The idea was to create the effect of the silver armor almost floating on the clear purple parts, and the end result is something that I've only ever tried with custom stuff. The included Sarvos and Scar Pheyden heads looks pretty sharp with this added effect as well.
The final part of this equation comes in the form of an Alcray themed Super Crayboth Pod. The familiar hues of light orange, pink and purple are all back, and for the first time a Reverse Alcray (Standard) has been produced.
Gah! Even when I try to keep it short I end up making a mini mountain! That being said, everything is in hand and ready to go.
We are still on track for this Sunday, November 30th at 9:30PM EST!

Arch Phaseon Enyriun
-1 Phaseon
-1 Hub Set
-2 Phase Arms
-2 Gobon Blasters
Phaseon Enyriun serves as one of Argen's main officers in the growing Gendrone Rebellion. Utilizing Phase Technology, Enyriun regularly reconfigures its structure, augmenting specific abilities to better insure total mission success. The Arch Phaseon formation is the preferred mode for most long range solo operations.
