Bit Figs: Wave 7
A new round of goods is available now at the Culture Pirates shop!
Two new glow-in-the-dark sets are on the menu, along with a very special item to commemorate 10 years of Glyos.
Since the release of the very first wave, I've had the honor of working on each color mechanical for every Onell Design figure produced. Along the way, Matt and I have discussed what a DB Pheyden would look like, and countless offshoot Travelers from beyond. It felt appropriate to finally pull the trigger during our decadal year. The resulting Pheyden, Matryx, has ties to the Bit Figs origin story (in addition to a handheld gaming system from my youth), and features our first ever 5-color chest paint tampography!
We're also excited to offer the Bit Figs Ninja Series 1 blister pack, which includes all five deluxe painted figures as seen in vending machine displays. Another SSM Vending collaboration we have in stock is the complete set of Animal Series 1 stickers.
Drift over to the Pirates shop and have fun exploring!

Bit Figs: Wave 6
The new wave of Bit Figs is available now at the Culture Pirates shop!
Mega Bit Pheyden Cosmic Wave Starcrosser is not only the first to feature special effects plastic and the new belt paint app, but these figures were run in a lower durometer for extra pliability. In hand they have a softer "minifig" feel, similar to the old Japanese Keshi lines. A limited number of unpainted sets are available as well.
Also in store is the debut of Animal Series 2: Marine Bit Figs! Five all-new coastal characters are available now in mystery 5-packs. They'll be floating around vending machines nationwide this summer where you'll have the chance to score a super rare deluxe painted figure!
Rounding things out is the second series of enamel pins, featuring new colors for Iken and Oni. We've also restocked the original glow-in-the-dark Glyos Button Set 1.
As a special thank you to all early supporters, here's a limited time offer:
Enter discount code COSMICWAVE at checkout for 20% off any order $25 and up! Expires this Friday 6/9 at midnight.
Thanks and have fun!

The Bitkeeper
While mapping the various otherworldly planes that the last remaining Dimension Gates still had access to, Gatekeeper Viyer discovered a world unlike anything ever recorded before, even within the esoteric Gatekeeper Codex.
Upon crossing into this odd place, Viyer and his companion, Gatekeeper Varriun, found their appearances drastically altered. Within an instant, every curve became angled and hyper defined, their very beings totally compressed and reformatted into geometric patterns. They had become captured "bits" of information, completely stored within cube-like forms.
After a prolonged exploration into this incredible "Bit World", it was decided that Gatekeeper Varriun would remain to collect more information, while Viyer would return back home to document what, and whom, they had uncovered on their expedition.
Varriun remains to this day, a Bitkeeper beyond the Gate.
New release coming to the Culture Pirates shop this Saturday, February 4th at 9pm ET!

Thank You!!!
The Bit Pheyden Brigade has been divided and are en route to their new homes! Thank you all once again for supporting Bit Figs and checking in at the Culture Pirates shop.
This has been a dream come true for me. Pheyden exists in so many forms, colors, and iterations, and with each release Matt and I will typically say, "this is my favorite yet." And I know we'll say it again on the next round (the Mega size in clear tint is quite a thing to behold..), but this particular shade of blue has a special place in our hearts. The color somehow changes drastically in nearly every light source, and even the 8-bit sprite version has been altered with almost every game cameo, but in a way this is a true reflection of the nature of Pheyden - existing in numerous dimensions, traveling to the farthest reaches of Glyos, and adapting to every environment. A constant that never stops changing. But at the end of the day, in my mind, when the Space Traveler settles back home, he's blue, baby.
Without sounding too much like a busted 45, thank you, thank you, thank you. Tonight I celebrate in Boston with friends and one of my all-time favorite bands, so for those interested I leave you with two great songs- Thank You and Without Love. Cheers! -marcus

Family Values
With a fresh shot of updated vibrant light blue, Mega Bit Pheyden and Bit Pheyden are ready to join the ranks of the Glyos and Bit Fig universes, landing right in place with their SSM-born brethren across both the Ninja and Animal spectrum.
Pheyden's new cousins might be a little square, but they really bring things full circle.
We're so proud of you, Marcus.

The New Standard
A familiar face returns...
This Sunday, October 2nd, at 9pm Eastern, Mark I of Standard Bit Pheyden hits the official Bit Figs shop. This is the very first deluxe Mega Bit Pheyden set, featuring painted eyes and limbs on both 3" and 1" versions. Also available will be a matching "Pheyden Blue" exclusive 10-pack featuring both series 1 Ninjas and Animals.
This small release marks a pretty big moment for us here at Onell Design. Not only was Pheyden the first full-production Glyos figure, he was also the first character I attempted to create pixel art with. To see our flagship Traveler go from paper to PVC to video and back to PVC has been quite a unique journey. Those who've been with us for a while have seen Pheyden rebuilt, recolored, scarred, and now downgraded (in size and resolution). The full circle cliché in this case is more of a square, and personally I couldn't be any happier with how things have fallen into place. The pixel art elements of Onell remains my favorite contribution to Glyos, and continues to be an area where Matt and I really feed off each others energy and passion, even if it's more behind the scenes these days. The fact we now have a "Passcode Playset" of sorts is something we hope everyone reading this can enjoy as much as we will.
Check back Sunday night to grab a Bit of Glyos history.
