February 2016 Release UPDATE

*2/29 UPDATE: The store has been updated with the remaining items from last week's sale (refresh onelldesign.com/store). Please note there are very limited quantities of certain items. Thanks again for your support and patience.

We had some issues with our old friend PayPal last night, causing the inventory control to experience a meltdown, supposedly due to extra high traffic.

This resulted in the Varteryx Gotherrus being slightly oversold.

Those that ordered right before the store was closed will be receiving a direct refund on that particular figure, but the rest of your order will still remain intact and ship WITHOUT the Varteryx Gotherrus.  We will notify you directly if you are receiving a refund on this figure. Please let us contact you.

All other orders from last night have already been processed and are being prepared for shipping. Packages will start hitting the post this Friday morning.

Michelle and I burned the midnight oil last night to nail down the actual numbers, so there would be no extended delays in getting all the orders out. We are shooting to reopen the store by next Monday, after we follow up with PayPal and get the back end secured.

Due to previous problems with PayPal, we have a series of internal controls that we use for every release. These controls (paper, pen and math) remain completely outside of the PayPal system. It is through these countermeasures that we have been able to spot inventory discrepancies before they spiral out of control (like the "Paypocalypse" of June 2013). The last PayPal inventory issue occurred in July 2015 during our 8th anniversary wave. Our monitoring of the system back then caught things before they went nuts, but we did oversell one figure during that round as well.

We'll keep you guys updated on everything as we move along.  Also, we're discussing potentially running another round of the Varteryx Gotherrus, so feel free to leave your input in the comments section below and we'll see what the interest level is.

Sincere thanks from Michelle, Marc and I for your patience and understanding as we square everything away. We truly apologize for the difficulties that some of you experienced last night and 100% share in your justified frustration. The team is working on all cylinders to rectify the situation.

Not many folks can break PayPal, especially three separate times. You guys are still a real force to be reckoned with, even after nearly 9 years.

Code Zereon

As Glyaxia Command continued their search through Argen's data files, many strange records relating to the early development of the Buildman Project were uncovered. Within this information lay hidden a number of abandoned concepts that were taken directly from the Sendollest Buildstation archives by Argen himself.

Of particular interest to Glyaxia Command was a sealed project simply called Code Zereon.

Argen's data revealed that during the height of the Old War, the Metran Science Department discovered a derelict craft of unknown origin among the shattered moons of the Sendollest Drifts. Through the use of a powerful alien decryption mechanism the Metran Science Department pulled a series of esoteric mechanical plans from the craft's cortex and proceeded to try and recreate what they had found.

Documentation from the original Code Zereon experiments ended with an unexpected order to destroy all active test models and to halt any further development of the project indefinitely.

After learning of these events, Glyaxia Command realized that Argen was intent on resurrecting the Code Zereon project due to the evidence found inside his memory banks. It was then, through the use of Argen's own significant progress in nearly constructing a "Gendrone" Zereon, that Glyaxia Command was able to complete the unfinished work started by the Metran Science Department so long ago.

Now, select Esedeth Mobile Patrol soldiers utilize the first production Gendrone Zereons in their specialized missions, incorporating the compact tech into different Variable Reflex Driver configurations and testing the Zereon's limits.

Banimon Invisibles

Perfectly timed with today's fresh snowfall, Rocket North's Chief Commander Boris Savic reinforces his Banimon legion with the first ever Clear Colorless "Invisible" edition of his classic Banigoth/Red Army Men figure tonight, February 5th at 9PM EST over in the Banimon store.

I've personally been waiting for a clear colorless run of these little guys for years, and now it's finally happening. I've had a few particular builds set aside specifically for this clear Banimon parts attack (one is shown above)!

However, the launch isn't only about the new clear production run, it also features a special custom "Pseudo CC" offering, showcasing the combined talents of longtime Banimon collaborator Seth "Orbitdyne" Longmire and Boris himself.

Looking forward to this release, B! It's hard to believe that you're coming up on 4 years in full production (Banimon/Red Army PVC figures debuted back in September 2012)!

Congratulations on another round, Boris!
