Ni's New Stuff

Our buddy Ni has a new round of custom craziness going live today, December 2nd, at 3PM EST.

Looking freshly painted (I think I can smell the Monster Kolor through the computer) and ready to roll, Ni continues to impress with his attention to detail and cool color combos.

Presidential Duties

We are once again preparing for the trip out to SDCC, and like last year, we want to offer some special things to all you guys who may not be attending. It can be frustrating deciding on what cons to go to, as the price of just about everything climbs higher each year. With this in mind, we want to send a huge thank you out to everybody who keeps us alive all year long.
So over the coming weeks some unique stuff will be available strictly through the site and blog -and not at SDCC.

First up is a very limited edition of Armodocs painted up by the master, Matt Walker AKA Dead Presidents Designs. This will be the first round of painted Armodocs available through the Custom Corps project and Matt did a awesome job pushing the applications on them. Think of it as a pre SDCC CC! As usual, the photos don't do the figures justice, but you get a taste of what he's done. The Armodocs will be blind bagged and run $60 USD. The gates open on Sunday (July 11th) at 6PM EST. More pics tomorrow.

Following the custom Armodocs will be another NON-CON exclusive, available the week of SDCC. More details on this soon!

Then in August we will be dropping the next big assortment of stuff, including an all new Passcode and a particular Pheyden that I've wanted to do since we started this! Some other big secret surprises are also in store (don't want to jinx them). There are a few curve balls that are waiting to be thrown as well.

We hope to catch up with some of you at SDCC. Booth #4937 is where we'll be, with a truly international group of amazing artists and friends.

RXH x Onell x Dead Presidents x Callgrim - GITD Scar Pheyden Mini

The RXH Mini project continues! We are finally ready to roll out the Pheyden Mini after many tweaks and planning. This is a very special edition that is the combination of RXH, Dead Presidents, Callgrim and us. Matt Walker really put some amazing applications on these little guys (using his new Monster Kolor paints) and pushed the figure to another level. As usual, photos don't do the finish total justice, but there is a ton going on when you see this one in hand. Mori's design aesthetic is in full swing, blending up Pheyden with his classic style and form factor. I see these guys as almost "Hulked out" versions of the normal Glyos figures. As an special bonus, the Pheyden Mini has the addition of a movable waist as well as shoulders and neck!

To top off the this crazy collaboration, resident Art Warlord Jesse Moore has whipped up a batch of unique mini paintings to accompany each figure. He is also providing the production header card art. All of these mini paintings are one of a kind! One mini painting is included per figure.

Since this is the launch of what we hope is an ongoing figure line, we are also including a special fully painted (DP), interchangeable Sarvos head with every figure to mark the occasion. Numbers as usual are very limited. These will go on sale tomorrow, April 22nd, at 12 noon EST. The price will be $55 USD plus shipping. Limited to 1 per customer.

Huge thanks go out to Mori, Matt Walker and Jesse for continuing to push the boundaries and keep the inspiration flowing.

One other point of note- we will also be offering some of the previously "Off World" figures from the Glyaxia wave as well as a few Armodocs from the Ayosire wave tomorrow. There are not a ton of these available, so if you missed anything from the last drop you may be in luck. Check the store tomorrow to see what pops up.

Monster Kolor!

Congratulations to Matt Walker aka Dead Presidents on the launch of his brand new paint supply company, Monster Kolor! Matt has been working like crazy behind the scenes to put this venture together. After very long hours formulating special blends of super high quality paint combinations, the time has finally arrived to unleash his latest beast. The Monster Kolor site even provides an all new forum where fellow paint maniacs can share tricks and ask Mr. Dead Presidents himself for problem solving tips. The amount of time that has gone into this has been colossal, and the results look excellent and top quality. One of the coolest things is that Matt is making multiple sizes available for purchase, from small bottles to the larger, beefy options. I'm personally psyched to be able to get paint that has super adhesion, clean mixing and a tough finish. As all my fellow customizers know, getting paint to stick around after some playing can be frustrating as hell. Matt really went the distance getting the mix to be super strong and highly durable. You can brush it, spray it or splatter it, each technique will have the extra firepower of proper paint no matter how you decide to apply it. Imagine if the most critical painter set out to make a paint that met his highest standards, that's what Monster Kolor is. Check the Dead Presidents Blog to find out when the site goes live this week. You did it Mr. Walker, my disintegrating hat is off to you!
