Thank You!!!

A belated but genuine thank you for the great response to Wave 105! Your continued support is what keeps us exploring different ideas, developing new assortments and expanding the line with our fellow makers. The fact that we're still busy after nearly 18 years is a testament to your dedication and partnership throughout all the dimensions Glyos has traveled through. Words will never cover how grateful we are over here, especially as the larger world shifts faster and faster all around us.

The exploration of the Traveler is the subtle theme we're concentrating on for 2025, and multiple special collaborative projects are entering into their final stages as I write this (hence the delay in checking in). If you like Pheyden and the Travelers, then this should be a fun year to rumble around in.

Speaking of crossovers, make sure to head over to the Toyfinity site tonight, March 28th, at 9:30PM EDT for a new assortment of Manglors action! For those who read our last comic with the amazing Dillon Wheelock and saw the pin up by painting powerhouse Sen, you'll get a chance to have life imitate art with a couple of John's latest monstrosities! A special extra thanks goes out to Erwin Papa for his continued contributions to the Glyos world. You'll get to see even more of his exceptional work in the year to come.

The current release schedule here is to have a small round of new/old figures available in mid-April (long time folks should especially get a kick out of what's on deck), with a normal sized assortment set for late May. We're actively pulling the sizes of the waves in a bit while we see how the current international situation plays out. This also means more Buildstation type lower priced options surfacing within the waves this year, to hopefully balance the rising costs of things. A little more burger thinking to go along with the steaks.

I tried to keep it brief, as not to torture, but thank you once again for sticking with us as we push the engines!

Thank You!!!

An extra monstrous thanks for being part of the special debut release of Mike MZs Zulloid! Right out of the gates, I know there has been some warranted frustration with the brevity of availability on this new assortment, and for that I do personally apologize.

That being said, this entire round was the last order Mike MZ placed before he passed on, so the numbers were not at the level that we would normally run for our own stuff. We worked closely with the family of Mike MZ to make sure they were all totally on board with us releasing this wave just as Mike had asked me to do in our last conversation. To say that this entire experience has been intensely emotional doesn't really come close to covering it.

Wave 101 is lined up to roll out near the end of this month and it does include a brand new Zulloid in the mix, run at higher numbers. You'll also see another edition of the Zulloid pop up in a different location even sooner than that. Our aim right along the way has been to do a successive series of Zulloid editions to celebrate the last project we all did with Mike MZ. Keep your eyes peeled over where "the gods are beasts" sometime next week if you're hunting for the next style of the Zulloid.

Mike would have been extremely happy by the turnout for his new creature from space. There's a good story to tell regarding the development and history of the Zulloid, and I look forward to sharing it with you once all the dust settles a bit.

Deep gratitude goes out to the whole Moszczynski Family for allowing us to share in continuing the legacy of Mike with all his friends and fans.

We finally got it out there, Mike!

Zulloid Sluggoloth Plasmulon

Zulloid Cortexiax Viocell

Zullen: A Reintroduction -The Sleekryll

The Zullen Sleekryll are the enforcers of the Zullen collective, genetically enhanced through the cross-hybridization of only the strongest of alien races (particularly through the genetic sampling of an injured and subsequently captured Delphi from the Glyos System). Due to their aggressive multi-species bio-breeding, they are capable of manifesting extraordinary physical abilities, but have a lower intelligence quotient as a result of their diluted natural ancestry.

Additionally, the newly created organism called the Zulloid has shown a particular affinity for bio-bonding with the Sleekryll.

Zullen: A Reintroduction - The Clyrathan

The Zullen Clyrathan are a psychically hyper powered race with unique clairvoyant abilities. They are tasked with reading the "Directional Fate" of civilizations that are selected for experimentation by the Zullen collective, taking any necessary action to guarantee that their clandestine operations are not compromised. These usually nefarious plans are commonly imposed through psychic espionage, mind manipulation and remote telekinetic activities.

In many ways, the Zullen Clyrathan serve as the "Psychic Navigators" of the Zullen collective, charting the courses of entire planetary generations just so the Zullen can feed off the resulting advancement or destruction of each targeted society.

Zullen: A Reintroduction -The Xarrgrey

The Zullen are a collective of alien races that have become obsessed over time with discovering, manipulating, claiming and then perfecting advanced foreign technology. Throughout millennia the Zullen surveyed countless worlds, establishing clandestine outposts to monitor the evolutionary progress of potentially useful species, then strategically meddling with their natural order to create more desirable results from these "experiments".  Many civilizations owe their true destruction to the Zullen, with their greatest resources and advanced science eventually being stolen by the Zullen's Imperial Regent.

Overseeing the Zullen are the Xarrgrey, gene splicing experts that re-engineer and integrate "returned" technology into the Zullen "Cortex Immortal" to foster new innovations for their collective to build upon. They were the first race that established the Zullen and continue to operate in a leadership capacity.

Almost all of the genetic experiments within the Zullen collective are carried out by the Zullen Xarrgrey, with two of the most notable being the abomination known as the Zullbeast and the hybrid super organism called the Zulloid, both of which represent physical manifestations of all the atrocities committed by the Zullen against the known universe. These horrific creatures are often used to "purify" undesired results stemming from failed Zullen world manipulations.

Zulloid Multrasor Standard

The Zulloid

Furthering their bold pursuit of engineering the most deadly organism in the known systems, the Zullen turned their attention to crossbreeding elements of the captured lifeform known as Kaisyriax with their own already diverse DNA. While the initial results of Project Zulloid were considered uncontrollable abominations like the Zullbeast, success was finally achieved with the discovery and integration of additional genetic material recovered from an ancient derelict craft known as the Atarikoth Comet.

Now, rising from their Mutagenic Multra Tanks and radioactively supercharged, the Zulloid begin their campaign to become the ultimate apex predator of all creation.

Legacies and Lifeforms

Tonight, April 28th, we have a special surprise mini wave ready to roll out in celebration of the late Mike MZ's final figure project, the Zulloid, which has been in development since early 2019.

We have been working directly with his family since his passing, and with their blessing, we are honored to usher this legacy project into the fold, just as Mike asked us to do.

This new assortment will land in the store at the usual 9:30PM EDT!

Mike "MZ" Moszczynski 1963-2023

Though he was a fairly private person, Mike "MZ" Moszczynski, fellow Glyos maker and creator/owner of the Zullbeast and Zullen, was one of the most generous people I've ever known. His sudden passing last month hit like a freight train for his family and all of us. He was just shy of 60 years old.

I met Mike MZ online in early 2011, after he'd reached out about some of my older work, particularly the Rechlen and Aves series. His enthusiasm and genuine interest were the real deal, and we started to correspond regularly. Mike would go on to reveal his deep love of the classic OSM toyline, created by Mel Birnkrant, and the subsequent Four Horsemen relaunch of the line in 2010, which had led Mike to Glyos. We talked about how much the OSM had impacted the both of us, opening up new creative pathways and the desire to one day potentially build our own worlds. Mike really had an incredible drive to create, which became more and more evident as we continued to connect.

It wasn't long before Mike started sending packages up here, each one filled with extraordinary customs, painted and built with true talent pulled directly from his surprisingly wild imagination. I tried to return the gestures by hiding old hand cast Rechlen and Aves figures in his outgoing packages after we'd have a launch. What started out as some fun gift giving quickly escalated, with Mike sending up a complete vintage OSM Series 1 set, as a gift. To say I was shocked is beyond an understatement, but the day I opened that box will never be forgotten. I still have them stored in that very box they arrived in, adorned with Mike's writing, reflecting his dry sense of humor. It was the same box I'd sent to him earlier, so my message to him was also scrawled on the inside flap. A small testament to the early days of our friendship. I'm so thankful that I held onto that beat up old box.

Eventually in 2015, Mike decided that he wanted to get into the production end of things, so we worked together with our mutual great friend Marty Hansen (prototyping/casting), ace sculptor Rudy Garcia (sculpting) and at that time fellow upcoming Glyos "maker in the making" Pat Bussey (product art) to concept and create what would come to be known as the vinyl Zullbeast. Mike's endless love for all things cosmic and creepy really came through with the Zullbeast, and quickly rolled directly into the development of the PVC Zullen project at the end of 2015. For the Zullen, Mike and I imagined that a collective of alien races had stolen technology from across the other Glyos "lines" and worked in the background to manipulate the events of those other universes, sort of like a counterintelligence to the Delphi. Mike was all about collaborating and exploring together, and that was the case for as long as I knew him.

Before Mike passed away, we'd been working on his latest project, which we called the "Zulloid". This one began in 2019 and went through some deep iterations over the last 4 years, continuing development right through the heart of the pandemic. As always, Mike stayed dedicated to seeing the project through, despite a variety of challenges, frustrations and delays. Once again, we worked with Marty, Rudy and Pat, and soon welcomed the great Anthony Coffey on board to take on digital sculpting duties. The Zulloid served as my first real working project with Anthony, who has gone on to sculpt many subsequent Glyos projects. Once again, another new branch of creative collaboration grown thanks to Mike's desire to keep making things.

In my last conversation with Mike, which was literally the day before he moved on, he asked that we keep his world alive, and carry on the legacy of all that he'd worked on. I promised him that we would do so, and that his memory would live on with each and every figure that he brought to life, through his love of creating and the love he forever showed his friends.

We miss you Mike, and we won't let you down.

The Zullen Invade!

Tonight marks the debut of our long time friend and collaborator, Mike MZ's full PVC production of his wicked Zullen!

Packed with four different head sculpts, the Zullen is the product of a multi-level team up that was spearheaded by Mike himself. Tons of creative DNA was hybridized into the final design, and some blood was even spilled along the way (I nearly chopped my thumb off tweaking the sculpt because I'm a fool). Huge congratulations go out to Mike, Rudy, Marty, and Pat for all their great work in bringing this new creation into reality. It was a blast to be part of the process and seeing another project come into focus never gets old.

Way to go, Mike! Excited to see where the Zullen take us next!
