Passcode Playthrough

In celebration of officially hitting the 10 year mark, we've put together a special Passcode Playlist that covers almost every entry in the series!

Creating each installment was always a labor of love, even when finishing things would take hours or days longer than expected (like the Glyaxia Incident of 2010). For anyone that may not have completed a game, or wants to rewatch the stories on the big screen, there is now over an hour of video to stream on YouTube.

Extra special thanks to our friend Rich Vreeland, whose music became not only the soundtrack, but the inspiration for many moments throughout the series.

Michelle, Matt and I are SUPER excited to debut the new figure tomorrow. There will not be a new Passcode this time, but check back for big reveals leading up to the launch tomorrow night at 9:30 PM ET!

Glyoforms: Build-a-Gendrone

The latest addition to Glyoforms is here: Build-a-Gendrone! This page has a mound of pixel parts to assemble your own Glyos 'drones large or small. We plan to do more sprite sets like this as well, pushing the digital building aspect into weirder territory.

You will also notice a minor revamp of the layout on all Glyoforms sets. With this new setup, each sprite is laid out along the top, and every piece can be duplicated to your hearts content. Each image created will become the top layer, so try designing your background first and work your way to the foreground. Thanks to our good friend Cappy for the help with the revised code!

Revenge of SUCKLE!

Our friend (and well known fiend), The Sucklord, is now entering the final days of his Revenge of SUCKLE Kickstarter, and the Suckteam has just announced something close to home within their new stretch goals- a mini Glyos Sucklord! Like all the previously revealed SUCKLE figures, this little menace was sculpted by the modern master of mini figure manipulations, George Gaspar!

In honor of this Tiny Traveler, check out the all new SUCKLE Glyoforms set (see the post below for more info on our interactive virtual "colorforms"). If you've always dreamed of designing a wrestling ring that pits scumbag aliens against the likes of a walking toilet paper roll, you've come to the right place.

Good luck Mr. Lord!

Glyoforms 3.0

For those that have been around since the early days of Glyos, you may remember a small flash app we made called Glyoforms. This was our ode to Classic Colorforms play sets, and another way to explore and customize the pixelated cannon of Glyos characters.

Glyoforms has been completely rebuilt using html and javascript (no flash), meaning it can be accessed on any device. This is a working model, but we want to give you guys a chance to play around while we test it out. A few tips before diving in:

-All sprites default to the upper left of the screen.
-On mobile devices, grab the TOP LEFT of a sprite to move it.
-Press the top center buttons to mix background colors and tiles.
-To save an image, take a screen shot. Create wallpapers and get creative!

There are a few sets available now from the master list, including Volkriun Space Force and the Rig Crew.  A handful of new pages are on deck, along with a few crossover surprises. Please comment here with any suggestions and feedback. Have fun!

Super Crayboth Glyventure!

Here's a little game we've been working on to coincide with both our anniversary and the release of our new vinyl figure. It's a Glyventure game, with controls similar to Dungeon Traveler but a few twists. My favorite addition is the Glyan Boombox (aka the Rhythemitter), featuring tunes by Arcade Rats (aka my twin). Click it during gameplay to cycle through a few tunes!

Depending on which player you choose, you may have a different experience, especially when going up against the Super Cray. The game is currently in Duel Mode only, so there is no ending... yet. Check back soon as we will unlock Commander Kullkizer and add a few other touches.

Massive thanks from Matt and I to my brother Jbo for delivering some clutch tuneage, and of course thanks to all of you for 7 years of continuous support. We hope you get a fun summer time vibe from this game that puts a smile on your face.

PS- Limits have been lifted and you may place additional orders.

Dungeon Traveler

We are thrilled to debut our new game, Dungeon Traveler!

This flash game is part of a new series we've been chipping away at for a while now, but it was October Toys' Skeleton Warriors project that really fueled the fire. The Glyventure series will travel across all parts of the Glyos System and beyond, and it seemed strangely appropriate to kick things off in a living space dungeon!

Matt and I almost never stop pulling inspiration from our pasts. Bits of Zelda, Pac Man, and Golden Axe certainly went into the mix this time, along with some new elements. Getting my brother JBo involved was great- we've been making music together our whole lives, but never created and scored an entire game like this. It's a trip to hear his distinct melodies while playing around with these characters. Arcade Rats have a lot more in store, so we hope you dig the new vibes.

Thanks again to all of you guys, the amazing community that keeps Glyos thriving! Special thanks also go out to George and Ayleen Gaspar for letting us rattle their bones!

Ok, 'nuff yak... GO HACK. After completing the Story Mode, try The Duel, a never ending arcade mode that we'll be expanding upon in the near future. Post your high scores here! Who should we unlock next?

Deep Space Flyin'

Glyaxia II has been upgraded with "Game B" mode, an homage to Balloon Fight, Gyromite and the many NES games that had alternate mini-games at the starting screen.

A few quick notes- this mode is endless, and will continually loop for as long as you can take it. The hit detection is not perfect, and you'll need to click back on your browser to exit, but personally I view these as interactive music videos for Rich's tunes... now crank up the speakers and enjoy some Deep Space Flyn'.

Happy Birthday, Brojack!

Glyaxia II: Escape from Block Base

Have fun!!

FYI- This is a good sized flash-based game. For those of you with older computers/laptops, you may experience a little Glyaxia choppiness... You can right click to save this file and play it on your desktop as well. Leave any feedback in the comments section of this post. Good luck trying to escape...

A Phanosty Release

The new stuff is ready to go! After the mayhem of the last release, we wanted to make sure we covered everything before announcing a definitive drop time, because we suspect we may actually receive a letter bomb this time if we have problems again. Seriously, this wave will be much simpler and smaller and will be going live tomorrow, Saturday June 5th at 3PM EST. Here's the lineup:

Caliber Dome (reconfigured light blue Callgrim) - $10 USD
Onell Design's very first Callgrim crossover release! Thanks Jesse!

Morphisar Conversion Set - $20 USD.
47 parts (includes 1 light blue Callgrim, 2 light blue Phase Arms, 2 light blue Gobon Blasters, 4 light gray clear Wheels, 1 gray Phanost head, 1 light blue Sarvos head, 1 light blue Phanost head, 1 light blue Phanost chest, 1 light blue Phanost pelvis and 1 gray Callgrim head)

Each Morphisar will actually ship in one of 3 formations -DSR Dome, Dome Runner or a Phanost Clone with Roller Pack. This is a major mash up and gets you a ton of special parts in one shot.

General Phanost Custom Corps - $25 USD
Limit 2 per customer (there are a lot less in this wave)
This is a limited run of special hand dyed and built up versions of Phanost that follows his transformation into his new form! The figures will be sold blind bagged. The assortment is split up into 4 basic styles: General Phanost Standard run, General Phanost Altervoth run, Phase Armor MK III Phanost gradient run and a special fourth type that will remain a secret until a little later.

Each figure has a mashup of parts and multiple dye applications (the Phase Armor styles were extra challenging to make). This marks the first time we've crossed parts with Callgrim for a CC release!

The last thing dropping is something that we've been toying around with for some time. It's called the Randomizer, and when you grab something from this new section you will have a chance at getting an older PVC production character from our figure archives! This means that anything we've released up until this point may appear in your order. This has been made possible after doing a big cleaning of the area over here and discovering some oldies but goodies. Plus I'm personally contributing some of my extras so that maybe some of you new guys can have a shot at the older styles without paying too much. To add some extra juice there are also 2 new styles that have never been released before included in this roll out. One of them consists of the parts that would make him the Reverse of the old Andromeda Pheyden released years ago. So we hope there is something for everyone with the Randomizer (a custom will pop up in an order from time to time as well). The Randomizer figures will be sold blind bagged at $8 USD each.

To pull everything together for this mini drop, we will also be adding some new content to the Glyaxia game! More players to choose from and even a secret level to discover. Be on the lookout for a particular skullfaced merc doing some illegal things on that put upon planet, Rilleco.

Speaking of our favorite merc, Callgrim's next big release is looking great and Jesse has been one busy man. The new figure colors are really just awesome and the new artwork is completely on point as always. He's still lining up a definitive drop date and when it does come time, there will be a healthy assortment of fresh product available.

As far as new stuff coming down the road from us, we have a big wave drop around SDCC time and multiple figures with RXH ready to pop up very soon (maybe even this month). Also, the all new vinyl piece is in pre-production and hopefully we'll see something in time for SDCC.
Well, that was a beast of an entry. Thanks for reading such a text mountain!

SMB Crossover

Yesterday morning Matt woke me up on the couch by tossing the laptop at me with this on screen. There were no words spoken for the first few minutes... This game has been live for only 2 days but the buzz it has created is impressive, and with good reason! Who doesn't want to blast away Koopas with Mega Man!? Better yet- literally whipping Bowser's ass with Castlevania's Simon. The attention to detail from the different player controls to integrating character-appropriate music truly makes this a work of art.

We have to congratulate Jay Pavlina for this ground breaking achievement. I could go on and on about the coolness factor of this game, but instead you should just play it yourself!

Banimon TV!

Boris Savic, the mastermind behind the excellent comic Banimon, has rolled out an all new section to his site. Click over to check out Banimon TV and try your hand at one of the many games Boris has put together for your entertainment. There may even be a surprise or two if you can beat one of the games. Also check out his ongoing web comic, Tok-Tok's Search. We are huge fans of what Boris produces and look forward to seeing the Banimon TV project expand. Awesome work Boris, we're loving the flying car!

Glyaxia Updates

Packages start shipping tomorrow and will continue into Monday. Thanks to all of you for pushing this release to another level. Each time we roll out a new wave, unknown events always take place, and no matter how much we plan some element of craziness ensues. Thanks for sticking with us even with the delays and wild schedule. This whole thing is more of an experience than a toy line at this point for us. I personally would be a fool to ever think that I understood what runs the universe, but whatever it is, it loves to keep us on our toes.

As for the new Glyaxia game, Marcus has added some great new bonus material to spice things up. The amount of work he has put into that game over the past month has been intense. I joke with him about it, but I really believe he has crossed into a new zone of existence as a result of how hard he pushed it last week. Now he's Marcus 2.0 and we're all lucky that he still likes this stuff!

Once everything is shipped out over the next few days (thanks again to the ultimate organizing machine that is Megan) I will continue working on what is shaping up to be a small Custom Corps. The Delphi have spiked some creative feelings and during the marathon casting session at the shop last week with Ron (he is an actual living Yoda) some new parts have come to completion. Some of the results might be of interest to fans of that rotund robo from deep space, Gobon.

On an important note, make sure you get over to blog.callgrim.com to see what the mad genius Jesse has brewing. Rumor has it that new stuff is closer you think. We love Jesse!

Now back to it!

Alright, Maybe Two... NOW REFRESH!

Well, the usual torture test was endured and the new stuff is LIVE! HUGE thanks to the guys who stayed up with us overnight, it was great talking to all of you in the forum. We're sorry for the delays, but we had to tweak things a bit more (as always) than we had anticipated. Maybe one day the challenge will be a little less insane, but probably not due to my attention to mostly foolish details. Ah, it's still damn fun.

Check around the store and the Build Station for the latest additions and play a round of the new Glyaxia Passcode game to hunt down more new secret items.

I want to say an extra special thanks to Marcus, who has just gone through one of the most demanding launches yet. He is a true machine and deserves the highest amount of praise I could personally ever offer. Both of us are excited to release this new stuff and we hope that it was all worth the wait. Have fun blasting those Gendrones!!!

Marcus addendum: I want to thank my partner in crime- Loyce, no matter how late/early/insane/delusional things get, we always enjoy every minute of it together. You truly bring out the artist in everyone around you. Also- massive props to Rich Vreeland, who continues to let us use and abuse his amazing Disasterpeace catalog that fuels almost everything we do. So much more planned with the Super Glyos System, but first... rest.
