Shipping Update

All of the shipping from the release last Sunday has been completed (except a few orders that came in late today).

Thank you once again for a strong start to 2015, and I personally hope that those of you checking out the new Granthan head find something interesting in its execution.  I know that it's a weird one, but sometimes the stranger things take a little time to find the right rhythm.

We do have a smaller wave planned for the end of February,  and everything is on track to reveal another project that has finally come to fruition.

Thank You!!!

Thank you for a great start to 2015! It was awesome seeing some old names come up in the mix during the launch.

I will attempt to keep this brief (right), as we are currently in the middle of a historic blizzard up here in New England and my shoveling/plowing duties are in overdrive.

The debut of the new production Neo Granthan head is something that has been in the works for about a year (like many of the projects here as of late). Finally being able to handle a full production piece, as well as spend some time looking at it through the camera lens has been a strange experience, mainly because this small addition to the ranks has a pretty deep significance within the development of Glyos. I have been drawing and working on the stories for the Granthans since way back in the early days of Rechlen and Aves, and the location of the planet Granthan has been a pivotal story point for many of the events that have transpired in our long running loose narrative (check out the Passcode section to your right).

The LSA battled Govurom there.

Govurom was defeated by Infiltrator Argen there.

Argen was freed by Pheyden there.

The Armodocs were created by Viyer there.

The Massacre on Granthan occurred there.

Agent Nemica became Hades there.

As the stories came together over the years, Marc, Jesse and I talked about eventually spotlighting the inhabitants of planet Granthan, and their role in the larger scheme of things. This was further explored when Marty and I collaborated on the first version of the Granthan head, which Marty sculpted, cast and still offers through his site.

These twists and turns have all arrived at the Neo Granthan version of the Armorvor. I'll expound on the reasoning for the updated look, partial head armor (fires a "Primal Ray") and color choices later, but each aspect has specific thought put behind the final appearance.

I hope that when these new figures land in your hands they spark the imagination and make you smile.

Now, I'm off to shovel.

Shipping updates will pop up as we dig out of this Snowzone throughout the week!

Mission Details

We have been experiencing some fun internet issues for the last few days, which have finally been half conquered here in the early hours of Saturday morning. Sorry for the extra delay in popping up the list.

All the new stuff has arrived, been processed and is ready to go! There will be a few surprises, and the new addition to the Armorvor family will finally be revealed. It seems surreal to see the new head in full production after wrestling with it for such a solid stack of months. I hope you guys dig the new spin on things when you see it.

A Metran Blue assortment has been cooking in the background since late last year, and carries on the Real Type color continuity from our recent waves. The PVC in hand is slightly subdued (like a faded cobalt blue), yet still displays a rich hue under the light. Paired with the Cool Gray 7C, there is definitely another Gundam vibe coming through the mix.

We are still on track for this Sunday, January 25th at 9:30PM EST, pending the ferocity of the impending winter storm that's rolling in later today. Hopefully we should be good.

Redlaw Effect

We are on track for a new release next Sunday, January 25th, at 9:30PM EST.  Among the items popping in the store will be the Redlaw Argen shown above, as well as a decent assortment of building accessories, some Crayboth and just maybe the return of that stubborn Armorvor.

More details and pics coming this week!

Villaxorian Form

I imagine these mutations are born from the trace elements of the Villser Virus that dwell deep within all Axis Technology. Under certain conditions, strange changes begin to occur, overriding the control mechanisms that keep Axis based upgrades in check. The resulting configurations echo the ancient form of the original Villser, albeit in an extremely diminished (though still dangerous) state.

The Villaxorian shown above is a contained build consisting of 6 complete Axis Joint Sets. By moving the limbs around, you can modify the look in a number of ways, one being a compressed "Crawler" that has a pretty creepy appearance (reminiscent of an Alien Facehugger).

Action Figures Not included

Our great friend and multitasking genius, Phil Reed, is in the final hours of his latest Kickstarter book project Action Figures Not Included, which serves as the companion piece to his recent Each Sold Separately.

Phil's latest endeavors are extremely relevant to the current position of the toy industry, and delve into the core concepts that resulted in our present state of plastic affairs.

Perhaps in a rare moment of insanity, Phil has asked me to write the foreword to his new book, so maybe just squint your eyes when you read that part.

Thank you Phil!

Happy New Year!

One day late!

Some fun things are in store for 2015 that we hope you all enjoy!
