Thank You!!!

Thank you for a great little release! We've been working away over here like spastic Christmas elves to stay ahead of things and keep the boxes moving! It's been fun sending these mutants and Glyninjas out to you guys as we close in on the end of the year.

Speaking of this year, we've seen a lot of growth across the Glyos family in 2018. From new molds and experimental paint apps to special crossovers and even a successful Kickstarter (KOTS!), 2018 really introduced some excellent stuff from the different Glyos makers. 2019 looks to expand a bit more, with a number of exciting projects and even some new faces emerging onto the scene.

To celebrate the holidays in Advent calendar style (no chocolates, just PVC), December is packed with Glyos releases! We've already seen awesome new assortments from the great Pat Bussey (Bio-Masters), and Spy Monkey (all new parts, including a wicked Goblin and Berserker!), and later tonight Pj will have the first online sale of his incredible full production PVC Geodraxus (I've been lucky to have watched the development of this unique figure from day one and it's a refreshing, deep dive for builders).

As December continues to unfold we'll see offerings from the powerhouse, Marty "The GodBeast" Hansen (get ready for more super charged and striking color selections), and our very own Marcus will have a special Culture Pirates Shop release featuring a fun take on the Glyan and a full assortment of our accessories (and wheels!). Reinforcements will then land near the end of the month from our buddy John Kent and Toyfinity, which should make fans of the classic Robo Force characters smile.

Another surprising part of this crazy month is something that has finally materialized here at home base a little earlier than expected (as in a few days ago). I know the timing is a little strange, but due to the many requests we've been receiving since DCon, this Tuesday night (Dec 11th, 9:30PM EST) we'll be opening a special dedicated part of our store for the first domestic online release of our Nu:Synth Initiative crossover with 1000Toys, featuring Glyosynth Pheyden and Glyosynth Buildman. We have a decent amount of each style in stock and should be able to cover everybody who would like to check one out. This project has been an absolute dream and the crew at 1000Toys continue to impress. Huge thanks to Don, Jesse D, Yuta and the whole 1000Toys team! We'll post more about the process behind this crossover in the coming week.

All packages, including international orders, have hit the post, except what came in yesterday and this morning (they'll be out the door shortly as well). Huge props once again to Michelle and Pj for holding down the fort!

Recent packing tunes from the Barn included more Louis Cole (Marcus and I saw him live last month -incredible show), Queensrÿche (Mindcrime of course) and The Alan Parsons Project.

Thanks again from the whole family for keeping this ship running and inspiring us to push into new frontiers!

Marvelous Mutations

See you at Designer Con, booth 2629!

A Haunted Addendum

It's no secret Matt and I love all things creepy and crawly, and this last round of Glyos deviants is high on my list of personal favorites. Extra fun was had during the launch, creating some bonus pixel mutations, and eventually a full sticker sheet of sprites plagued my screen.

A small run of new sticker sets are available now from the Culture Pirates shop! These will ship by themselves in a super sturdy flat-mailer to ensure safe delivery. Twin 4x6 sheets are included with each set for a total of 14 stickers.

I haven't finished watching The Haunting of Hill House, so Halloween is still in full effect over here!

Much more Bit Figs related news to be revealed at DCon...

Thank You!!!

Thank you and a late Happy Halloween! We've been hustling triple time over the last week to keep up with the flow from this new wave and we're very grateful for that!

Right out of the gates, an extra special thanks on this release goes to our longtime collaborator and brojack, Ralph Niese. The German genius brought everything to another level with his latest batch of drawings, truly delivering some outstanding work. Ralpho, you really detonated the megastick of dynamite and blew us all away!

Our collective love for the holiday made it a real blast to work on the Halkenn arc. With the intense pace of things around here (over the last few years in particular), finding quality time to actually write down some of the stories drifting in between my ears can be tough. However, the stars aligned this time and I feel like we were able to present Halkenn properly.

Moving from spooky to sneaky, our next wave is set to land right near the end of this month, and will see the return of the Satraku Clan. We've had ninjas of all kinds on the mind lately, and so have some of our other Glyos-making friends.

Toy Pizza's great and free thinking Jesse DeStasio, chief architect of the KOTS and upstate New York's municipal menace, has a fun new Kickstarter running right now. Funding has already been met, but there are a bunch of wild stretch goals that are just beginning to open up. One of the first of these goals is perhaps the most horrifying sculpt in all of Glyos to date, that being a tiny version of my head. For reasons beyond understanding, Jesse D had Ant create a mini-me. I suppose folks can use it as a stand in for a variety of vagrants or extended coma patients.

Beyond the small Beardlord, there are a slew of awesome unlocks, my favorite being the Device Ninja. I've been watching the development of this figure and it's loaded with cool parts. Depending on where things land, there could also end up being an upgrade kit available with even more optional limbs and heads. The Device Ninja has some neat connections to the Satraku Clan that we hope to explore in 2019.

As of this writing all packages have been shipped out, including all international orders. Michelle and Pj both hammered through a larger than normal stack of invoices and never missed a beat.

Barn tunes revolved around the soundtrack from Interstellar, some Little Dragon and early Eagles (sorry Marcus).

Wrapping up the latest wordwall, we hope to see some of you this month at DCon. We'll be at booth 2629! More details to come.

Massive thanks from the whole crew for an awesome Halloween release!

OSM Cthulhu-Nautilus Rlyehzoth

The Labyrinth of Rlyehzoth

Deep beneath the murky waves of Planet Relgost, an otherworldly evil toils in the darkness.

Using bizarre and ancient rituals to draw power straight from the Zorennor Rift itself, the cosmic horror known as Rlyehzoth channels this metamorphic energy directly into captive lifeforms within its incomprehensible prison, creating vile mutations from the damned and unwilling.

Halkenn is pulled to Relgost by his heightened intuition and soon finds himself trapped in an eerily familiar labyrinth, so mind boggling in design, that only his Aetheric Eye can overcome the madness of the infernal maze.

Imhoden Pheydotep

The Curse of Pheydotep

Long before the Orphormic Sands of Esedeth finally ended their long dominion, an advanced civilization stood proudly on the once bountiful surface of the planet, a shining beacon throughout a burgeoning Glyos System.

Now, buried under lost hope and forgotten stone, something stirs within the strange tomb of their once great ruler, Imhoden Pheydotep.

Awoken from a dream by an ancient and foreboding voice, Halkenn journeys back to Planet Esedeth and the haunted memories that await him there.

Diversus Mutant

The Diversus Spawn

Left behind on the Atarikoth Comet to keep watch on another one of Gatekeeper Viyer's "discoveries", a single Protoclone soon starts to mutate from prolonged exposure to the pure Diversus Energy flowing through the primordial vessel itself.

Quickly multiplying, the newly spawned Diversus Mutants begin to repair the ancient ship to complete its original mission: mutate all life in the Glyos System so the Diversus Empire can rise again!

Using a Hub augmented Aetheric Eye, Halkenn remotely views the nefarious activity aboard the Atarikoth Comet and initiates a plan to eradicate the ancient threat, once and for all.

Hallowden King

The Hallowden King

A relic of a shattered and forbidden planetoid, the derelict Crypt of Crethicay drifts through the emptiness of silent space, an ominous shadow lurking just beyond sight.

Yet under its surface the Hallowden King reigns supreme. Summoning nefarious beasts from the haunted Circle of Chaos, the Hallowden King prepares his growing legions for their attack on the world of the living.

A formerly suppressed part of his mind now energized, Halkenn experiences a vision of a horrifying alternate future, where the Hallowden King has laid waste to the many cities of Glyos.

Springing quickly into action with his Hub Drone, Quinmorr, Halkenn uses his psychic force to locate the Crypts of Crethicay, intent on eliminating the twisted machinations of the Hallowden King before they can become a reality.

Mutation Hunter Halkenn

The sole survivor of Strike Team Sendred's near total decimation, the former STS Commando known as Halkenn volunteers for Glyaxia Command's new Black Andromeda Project, swearing to exact revenge on the wicked creatures that destroyed his comrades.

Submerged in a tank of experimental Black Core Compound derived from formulas found within the infamous Hades File, Halkenn emerges with a host of unique new extrasensory abilities. Through the additional use of a specially developed "Aetheric Eye" he is able to remotely perceive the dimensional disturbances caused by deviant lifeforms and hunt them down.

Reborn with a purpose, Halkenn sets forth on a new mission to discover who, or what, is behind the rise of chaos that now holds all of Glyos in its fiendish grip.

Thank You!!!

Thank you for a great start to the school year! An extra level of internal excitement over this new round had been simmering ever since we turned the original mechanicals in, so when everything finally landed in the barn I spent a ton of time just building and testing things out.  In many ways a successor to the TFV wave from earlier this year, the STS colors seem to capture that Real Type vibe right on the nose, via some direct channeling of the awesome Solo flick (Mimban mania!).
The STS selections were fairly stacked, so we ordered on the higher side in the hope that we'd have things available for a little longer than usual, particularly because of the gray color choice. The RF Trio being run in a neutral hue like gray should be more accessible than usual for those that would like to explore the parts, without the worry of an imminent sellout. It's a little tougher to stock the higher priced items from a manufacturing standpoint, but thanks to John's generosity in letting us run such a great neutral color, we wanted to make sure we didn't come up short.
This wave also signifies the closing of the current FP homage Mystery Figure assortment. That being said, we may revisit some of the non-space style FP figures down the road. The new MF sub-series will begin in the upcoming mid-October wave and is currently slated for a 5-6 figure set, to be offered over the next 5-6 waves. Some of you may dig the new (old) theme, which is right in line with the FP time period.
The creative powerhouse that is Ralph Niese has once again supplied some wicked new art (the beginning of which is shown above) to accompany and expand the STS arc, and we'll be showcasing more of his efforts throughout the rest of the week. We've been waiting for this STS wave to focus on the Rift Killer's interactions with the rest of the Glyos denizens and Ralph's renditions of this event are simply outstanding. More material for that ever growing mega book! Thank you Ralph!
All orders placed up until this posting have been packed and shipped, including all international orders. As always, Michelle and Pj expedited the process and even CC got into the mix this time!
We listened to a bunch of Louis Cole (Time), Knower and also had the old Robot Carnival and Fist of the North Star animations playing while we packed in the barn. Those with a Firestick should check out the latest block of animation on Prime. I've had Robot Carnival on loop for days!
Extra huge thanks for traveling with us to Wave 75! I feel like we've been in the bonus round for longer than is usually allowed, and that's only due to the support and interest that you continue to share.
