Bio-Masters: Wave 5

Construction-Minded Terror, Pat Bussey, has another wickedly specialized Bio-Mass Monster set for release later tonight, at 9PM CST (10PM EST), over in his store.

Pat's latest gang of monstrosities marks one of the first times that all of our in-house accessories have been available outside of the Onell site, and the new "Deconstructor" Unit shown in Pat's artwork above really delivers something exciting, imaginative and just super fun. Make sure you check out Pat's continuing story arc as well (a familiar entity may be meddling with the Deconstructor code).

This one sports an extra power packed punch, Pat! Love these themed waves!

Thank You!!!

Thank you for bringing Wave 68 to life! We had such an awesome time working on this round, thanks to the unique talents of our friends Glen, Nate, Ralph and Pat (his all new artwork is shown above-double thanks, Pat!). Exploring the world of the Glyknights has been a running sub-theme over here and the details really came into focus through collaborating with these artists. The creative approach that each one of them chose to take with our weird characters really added the magic, and we're deeply grateful for all the time and effort they collectively dedicated to this release.

So far the production numbers for this round have held up pretty well, with the majority of the items still available a few days in. Based on the flow, the general stock should be in decent shape leading up to DCon next week, though a good chunk of the new selections are definitely getting down there.

Speaking of DCon, we're on track to make the annual trip out to sunny Pasadena next week! Please swing by and see us (booth #1002) if you're able to attend the show. We love spending time with everybody at what's become the best convention for independent operators on the planet, and to keep things cooking we'll have a couple experimental mini production runs to share at the show. Extra special thanks to Ben and George for always making our visits to DCon an incredible experience.

As of this writing, almost all the orders from the launch have hit the post, with the last of them heading out the door today, including all international orders. Michelle and Pj were beyond powerhouses, working like crazy to keep things moving on schedule.

Our last wave of 2017 is tentatively set for early December, and will feature some Gendrone action in an all new metallic hue (and another new hue will debut as well). Argen will face an unexpected adversary that's been creeping around in the shadows since the Henshin III Wave.

Thanks again for keeping the bus rolling throughout all of 2017! It's been an action packed year and we still truly love sharing this stuff with you, more than ever.

The Zullen Invade!

Tonight marks the debut of our long time friend and collaborator, Mike MZ's full PVC production of his wicked Zullen!

Packed with four different head sculpts, the Zullen is the product of a multi-level team up that was spearheaded by Mike himself. Tons of creative DNA was hybridized into the final design, and some blood was even spilled along the way (I nearly chopped my thumb off tweaking the sculpt because I'm a fool). Huge congratulations go out to Mike, Rudy, Marty, and Pat for all their great work in bringing this new creation into reality. It was a blast to be part of the process and seeing another project come into focus never gets old.

Way to go, Mike! Excited to see where the Zullen take us next!

Bio Masters: Wave 4

The fiendish Master of Mutations, Pat Bussey, just rolled out his fourth wave of wicked Bio-Mass Monsters, now available for capture over in his store.

With an innovative mix of painted clear PVC, a mystery "brain" insert and a strategic application of clever tampo printing, Bio-Mass Monster Cerebelax charts some all new territory on an already awesome mold. This figure is not to be missed and is made even more striking by combining it with the Mordireus color matched Bio-Mass Monster Mind Phantom!

Killer round, Pat! Great art, great figures and a great line.

Bio-Masters: Wave 3

Cosmic Dungeon Master, Pat Bussey, currently has the third wave of his awesome Bio-Mass Monsters available now, over in his updated store.

Inspired by TSR's legendary Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and continuing the fantasy themed month of June across the sister Glyos companies, Pat's latest assortment is loaded with awesome colors and three special "Dark Fortress" builds (one of which even includes a "Contaminated" Hub Set).

Being able to watch Pat's creative process once again has been a blast, as he really does sink a lot of effort into the accompanying illustrations and story elements of his launches to flesh things out. Pat even constructed a scratch built set for his pics! A true passion project, all the way.

Killer work, Pat! Everything about this round is a knockout!

Bio-Masters: Wave 2

A seemingly endless variety of exotic and unpredictable entities dwell within the depths of the ever moving Quallerran Research Vessel Rydine. Under the steady watch of Overseer Elpherios, these incredible creatures are carefully tested and monitored in a focused effort to understand and unlock their true potential.

Through the use of concentrated Rayexx Beams, Elpherios super charges two otherworldly subjects recently obtained near a strange prismatic structure drifting inside the Crethicay Triangle. Only through the use of specialized control implants can the unstable Rayexx Beams be harnessed, usually with extraordinary results.

What secrets do these unique aliens conceal and how can the Rayexx Beams be used to advance the Quallerran mission?  It's Overseer Elpherios' task to find out...

Our friend Pat Bussey has his second official Bio-Masters release set for tonight, April 13th, at 8:30PM Central Time! Both of Pat's new color choices match right up with our recent Rayexx and Neo Nonillia runs, so the building possibilities are ready and waiting.

Great work, Pat! Love that art!

Kabuto Mushi MK II: Wave 18

Marty "Krunk" Hansen completes his 2016 KM program with a compact Wave 18! This round features not only Kabuto Mushi, but also a crossover pair of Pat Bussey's brand new Bio-Mass Monsters, all produced in matching neon "builder" color selections that must be seen in hand to fully appreciate (they were a bear to photograph due to the almost otherworldly brightness of the PVC). Each figure also comes with a matching set of Axis Joints to further mutate these monsters into whatever form your diabolical mind desires. You can find Marty's latest color spectrum defying assortment over in his shop!

Awesome work, Marty and Pat! These have been a real blast to reconfigure and mess around with.

Bio-Masters Among Us

Prepare for a menacing new addition to the Glyos ranks! After 2 years in development, Pat Bussey's Bio-Masters line has crossed over into full production with the arrival of his 21 part, fully Glyos compatible Bio-Mass Monster figure!

Pat is currently offering a special pre-order for the first 3 deluxe editions of his cosmic creature (due in early January), as well as an opportunity to grab a copy of his upcoming DCon Type Zero exclusive and limited T2 Test Shots (both with available in-hand for shipping at the end of November).
All pre-orders are set to wrap up this Friday, November 11th.

When I was first shown this project by the GodBeast himself (who has been Pat's sculpting collaborator and molding/casting mentor), it immediately made a strong impression. The direct result of Pat's killer design sense and Marty's refined sculpting skills, the Bio-Mass Monster lands itself in a unique category, showcasing a form that's unlike the more bipedal "two- legged humanoid" style production figures we've been producing since 2007. Pat's admiration of Lovecraft, He-Man and the monsters of his youth have culminated into something that touches on all of those sources yet still remains fresh and exciting.

I've been lucky to have worked on the production side of the Bio-Masters project over the greater part 2016, and want to personally congratulate both Pat and Marty on never losing sight of bringing this new figure to life. New precedents were set during the process of making the Bio-Mass Monster's tooling, and many months were spent pushing the limits to give this new creation a strong "build" lifespan.

I hope you try giving this creepy critter a spin and allow it to slither into your imagination... and flap, and claw and bite as well!

Thanks for the awesome illustration, Pat! The Glyninjas have been training hard for this showdown (but maybe not training hard enough)!

Bio-Masters Rising

The fantastic illustration shown above was created by Pat Bussey, the man behind the awesome Bio-Masters range of resin figures.

Over the past few years Pat has been working under the guidance of the one and only Marty "The Godbeast" Hansen to bring his concepts and drawings to life, releasing small runs of completely hand cast resin Glyos compatible Bio-Masters figures. By combining their abilities, Pat's original designs were brought into reality through Marty's excellent sculpting, resulting in an awesome and refreshing new property pulled directly from a 1980's bio-mechanical fever dream.

We've been working with Pat and Marty behind the scenes to bring the Bio-Masters line into full production for 2016, so keep your eyes open and your brain cells primed to explore another strange universe filled with tentacled monsters and creepy mutants galore!

Thank you for the killer drawing, Pat!
