Thank You!!!
As we approach our 8th anniversary this July, I keep thinking about how incredibly lucky we are to continue operating, and the genuine life force that all of you have given to this small thing we call Glyos. I could put up a thank you post a dozen times a day for the rest of my life and it wouldn't come close to conveying how deeply our entire family appreciates what your collective support keeps alive.
Over the years the landscape of independent manufacturing has changed dramatically, with design trends and delivery methods shifting at a rapid rate. These days it seems bananas to think about funding a new project without a stacked Kickstarter, a social media blitz, and some serious financial commitment from supporters and makers alike. I've seen the pros and cons debated on both sides, but when you take a look at the current state of collecting, the KS "preorder" structure may well prove to be the only viable way for a new project to ever see the light of day for many companies and individuals.
I bring this stuff up because I want to share a little bit about why we roll things out the way we do. For the most part, I believe our system of "releases" or "drops" keeps things moving at an exciting clip, and still holds a bit of mystery in regards to what will appear, especially in a presale universe that basically eliminates the experience of discovering even the simplest of surprises. Our way is far from an exact science, and absolutely has its downsides, so we are constantly tweaking things behind the scenes to help improve our performance. But what is the right balance? When is something too abundant and something else too scarce? Do folks like to receive their goods within a week of ordering from a stocked launch? Or is waiting months to possibly even a year after a crowdfunding campaign ends acceptable to guarantee a certain item? The answers literally shift with each collector's personal philosophy.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter.
Thank you once again for keeping the doors on this bus, and for navigating another oddball mind maze of words!

Mini Mission Details
A special point of interest for this round is the debut of a new "Gunmetal" silver PVC that features a deep metallic finish and looks pretty unique in hand. The Skeleden, Neo Granthan Armorvor and Crayboth molds each get to test the waters of this new metallic mix, with a secondary color of PMS 185C red and metallic gold accents across the three figures.
Neo Phase clear green makes its return in a special two tone color combination, sporting a clear dark teal Traveler body under the clear neon green Skeleden Armor.
Mordireus neon pink also comes back from the void in the form of an eye searing Skeleden Mutation!
There will be a couple surprises tomorrow night as well!

Mission Details
After a few delays with some overseas shipping, everything is finally in place for the new assortment to roll out!
This wave has a few special points of interest, a major one being our first crossover production run of Toyfinity's Maxx Zero, from their Robo Force line. Due to the combined creative development of Maxx Zero, the core figure was loaded with many hidden configurations while being prototyped by Ron and I at the shop. One particular build, the Gendrone Force Defender, was designed to eventually surface in our ongoing story arc. The idea behind this specific form centers around a lost piece of Old War technology discovered by Argen while mining the database of a prototype Buildstation located in the Sendollest Drifts for information. Argen soon puts the Gendrone Force Defender into full production, pulling it from obscurity to join the ranks of the Gendrone Rebellion. Special thanks go out to John Kent and the Toyfinity team for sharing the mechanical madness that is Robo Force with us!
The other focus for this wave is of course the metallic Ultra Bronze, which is meant to evoke an AD&D/Golden Axe/Ray Harryhausen vibe. Forged in the metallic Ultra Bronze PVC, both Skeleden and the Neo Granthan in particular are inspired by the days of playing Sega's Golden Axe while on my lunch break during the dreaded days of summer school. Hopefully this new hue adds some fun to the mix!
We are still on track for this Tuesday, March 31st at 9:30PM EDT.

Mission Details
The timing of this winter blast falls in perfect harmony with our new wave of figures, which centers around Search Corps Ankram, a small team of specialists sent to Planet Nemica to analyze the lasting effects of the Bio Paralyzer that was used by Planet Metran to end the Old War. What one of the Searchers stumbles upon beneath the frozen wasteland reveals the ruins of a lost civilization that perhaps even the Elder Delphi were unaware of ...

Bringers of the Cold
We are on track for a smaller release landing next Sunday, February 22nd at 9:30 PM EST. The Neo Granthans will be making an appearance in the assortment, as long as the endless snow doesn't swallow our town completely before the launch.

Thank You!!!
Thank you for a great start to 2015! It was awesome seeing some old names come up in the mix during the launch.
I will attempt to keep this brief (right), as we are currently in the middle of a historic blizzard up here in New England and my shoveling/plowing duties are in overdrive.
The debut of the new production Neo Granthan head is something that has been in the works for about a year (like many of the projects here as of late). Finally being able to handle a full production piece, as well as spend some time looking at it through the camera lens has been a strange experience, mainly because this small addition to the ranks has a pretty deep significance within the development of Glyos. I have been drawing and working on the stories for the Granthans since way back in the early days of Rechlen and Aves, and the location of the planet Granthan has been a pivotal story point for many of the events that have transpired in our long running loose narrative (check out the Passcode section to your right).
The LSA battled Govurom there.
Govurom was defeated by Infiltrator Argen there.
Argen was freed by Pheyden there.
The Armodocs were created by Viyer there.
The Massacre on Granthan occurred there.
Agent Nemica became Hades there.
As the stories came together over the years, Marc, Jesse and I talked about eventually spotlighting the inhabitants of planet Granthan, and their role in the larger scheme of things. This was further explored when Marty and I collaborated on the first version of the Granthan head, which Marty sculpted, cast and still offers through his site.
These twists and turns have all arrived at the Neo Granthan version of the Armorvor. I'll expound on the reasoning for the updated look, partial head armor (fires a "Primal Ray") and color choices later, but each aspect has specific thought put behind the final appearance.
I hope that when these new figures land in your hands they spark the imagination and make you smile.
Now, I'm off to shovel.
Again.
Shipping updates will pop up as we dig out of this Snowzone throughout the week!
