Took the family back up to Gloucester yesterday and snapped a few shots of the new wave. Managed to get a shot of the Stealth Armorvor right at sunset, which created an interesting effect.
I'll put some more pics up in a bit!

The Armorvor definitely looks cool with the colors of the sun set shining through, but I love the second pic. It reminds me of a stealth expedition team on a strange new planet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jay! It was a great day to shoot outside.
DeleteThose clear Armorvors are pretty amazing! Can't wait to see some of the dye jobs that are going to come out of those. That GITD scarf is wicked too! I wonder who it's going to come with?
ReplyDeleteThanks Barry! The dye mania is going to be really fun to watch. There are so many talented artists out there that I hope work their individual magic on these chunky dudes.
DeleteThe GITD Scarf will most likely be included in the GITD Extra Set.
the inscription must say "i fooled my family for a family trip in using the time for photo shoots."
ReplyDeleteYOU GENIUS! haha.
Nice! I actually arranged the trip just to get some scallops.
DeleteMan,I really was pretty dead-set on not buying the stealth Armorvors, but those pictures are making it pretty hard to say "no"! Also, the reverse Hades looks insane, I may have to try that build out for myself.
ReplyDeleteAlso, will the Klace and Hades have a Pheyden torso, or will they come with the Sarvos torso? Sorry if this was asked somewhere else.
DeleteKlace will come configured with the standard Pheyden chest, and Hades will have the split chest. Both have the Pheyden belt pelvis.
DeleteThe Reverse Hades is how I imagine Klace eventually turning out, possessing some new abilities.
Thank you! And that sounds really cool. Klace is growing to be my favorite named character since I grabbed him during the Voss drop, so I'm really stoked to see him get some more love!

ReplyDeleteThanks Eric! I'm looking forward to seeing what you create from this wave.
DeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Seth!
DeleteAnother excellent batch of photos Matt. I'm looking forward to Wednesday. Next time Beth & are in your neck-of-the-woods we'll have to try & visit this place, I'd love to shoot a 1-shot photo comic there as it's such a great set for one. I just took a ton of photos on Friday for an up-coming comic and they came out really nice. It's going to be a good read I think. :-D And I agree with Michael- that Reverse Hades is awesome! O_O
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris! Congratulations on your new additions to the hand cast family!

These guys are some of your best creations yet. You and Jeremy do some very fun work together. Loving the colors as well!
I was just in Gloucester! It never dawned on me to scope out some photo-op locations. I'm definitely bringing some Glyos along next time I'm around there. Thats a bonus about living in RI. MA is right around the corner!
ReplyDeleteFantastic pictures. Making me all the more antsy for tomorrow. Can't wait!
What part of Gloucester did you visit? We're in Lanes Cove.
DeleteThanks Josh!
It's amazing how much the first picture looks like a 3D render. Special effects Armovor, go!
ReplyDeleteStrange, right? When the sun is at that sweet spot, everything looks almost artificial.
DeleteReverse Hades! gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jason! You have also been busy! The new variations on your big brain are really cool:
