  1. Holy cow. I can't wait for new Armorvors! That is a very Skull Grotess silhouette.

    1. Skull who?

Ha! I think that you, out of most folks, will connect with this new round. We worked hard on trying to choose the right assortment of creatures, and with Jason back on sculpting duties, it was tough to go wrong. Once again, he took my core designs and just blasted them off the charts.

Hopefully you'll find them worth the long wait.

    2. Frailey head sculpts are the bomb! So, we're looking at 3 new heads? And probably losing the helmeted head in the process? A great trade-off if so!

      Delete
    3. The helmeted head still remains intact and will come packed with each of these new Armorvors. The little backpack/phaser/mini head piece as well.

    4. This is awesome! Even just looking at those silhouettes and knowing that Frailey sculpted them means this return of the Armorvor is even SO MUCH better than I expected. WOW!!!

    5. Jason threw a particularly cool curveball into one of the sculpts that we weren't sure if we could pull off in PVC. Thankfully, we figured it out so we could truly honor what he came up with.

Nothing was held back on any of the conversions from master sculpt to full production. Though it did melt a little bit more of my brain in the process.

    6. That is a very good guess ...

  2. GREAT ODIN'S RAVEN!!!

Color me excited for this one! I dunno exactly what I'm looking at but if it's new Armorvors my body's ready!

  3. Good goddamn! Will there be any Armorvors this round? ; )

Middle one looks like Bossk the furtherest one away reminds me of the bat creature (Kabe) from the Star Wars Cantina, wonder will we be seeing a return to the SW homages?

    1. Based on this teaser, I'm predicting we will be seeing these in Black, Glow Blue and Glow green.

    2. Bossk would be awesome. I grew up loving the Fett, but Bossk has gotten up there ever since EA's SWBF2 launched. There's nothing like trolling Jedi with Proximity Mines.

    3. Black sounds like a good pick! No GITD or Star Wars, though.

Think of these new editions as the "Standards" of the characters, similar to how we rolled out the original Venjorun debut (these might even coordinate a bit with it).

    4. Will any of these three be wearing metallic hues?

      Delete
    5. No metallics and no clears in this wave. However, the colors that will be available have connections to previous runs or can build well with past waves.

      Delete
    6. Will we see the return of black swing joints perhaps? How many colors are we looking at this round?

      Delete
    7. Only one Swing Joint Set in the mix, which is the new purple.

      Delete
    8. Any Purple Quallerrans or Villser in the mix?

      Delete
    9. Both of those molds are off world this time, but next month they should see some action in one form or another.

      Delete
    10. Sounds like we might be getting a classic Traveler and Armorvor heavy drop then? Fun to see the basic Pheyden and Glyan molds can really hold up over the many years. A Glyan with 2x matching Axis joints is all I need to build a little chunky bug eyed marine!

    11. A Buildman may sneak into the mix as well.

  4. Welcome, Armovors! Long time no see! Have you brought the Delphi along for the ride?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The Delphi won't be present, but they are definitely watching.

They also know that you ate an extra cosmic chalupa, Gary.
You know that's against the Intergalactic Culinary Policy!

      Delete
    2. I think the man who made the Formanchie has some nerve invoking Intergalactic Culinary Policy! The Delphi are watching indeed, Matt XD

Jokes aside, this is exciting news! It's gonna be nce to see the Armorvors back with more variety! Sadly I did the unthinkable... I sold off my original Venjorun u__u It went to a worth place though. Guess it's time to get a replacement, even if I have to do some painting and customizing.

      Delete
    3. Consumption of the elusive Formanchie has been known to cause hallucinations involving Polish diners in the East Village and kielbasa chomping dwarven silk screeners.

      But you already know that.

  5. I had a feeling the Armorvor's absence was for a new head but I never would have expected three AND a wing pack. Really excited for the dragon, can't quite place the other two though. Looks like we get black, Volkriun green, and dare I hope, Gatekeeper? Hopefully a stealth isn't far away, I already have custom ideas for the dragon.

    1. The left one looks like the old Armorvor head, but I would think it's a new head to represent "the smart, quick-witted Halosars" from the three Lore species.

    2. Correct on the black pick. The other colors are pretty straight forward based on the sneak, but with little twists. Those that enjoy purple should be happy with not only one of the the Armorvor selections, but the whole wave as well. We tried to arrange the assortment so that you'll have lots of building options to mix things up!

      Delete
    3. Will there be purple accessories? If so, all of them?

I'd be over the gosh darn moon.

      Delete
    4. A full compliment of accessories will be available in the new purple, including the Glyarmor Set.

      Delete
    5. Oh my. I'll be going all in.

  6. No more Neo Granthan? Or would that be telling?
Any more renegades (heads or full bodies) this time around?

    ReplyDelete
  7. RIP Neo Granthan Head.

No Renegades in this round, but next month should scratch some of that itch.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Any chance we'll be seeing Glyans this round? The new Armorvors need some fresh meat to tear into...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Matt! In the almost 2 years that I've been collecting glyos there hasn't been an Armorvor drop, so I'm pretty excited. I'd love to take a crack at a new head sculpt on one of these some day for you guys.

    1. Hey Adam! Would love to see what you put together once the new wave gets out there. Keep up the great work on all those pro customs! I hope you make a vintage Super Adaptoid next. That's my favorite Marvel villain outside of Ultron.

      Delete
    2. Thanks Matt! Super Adaptoid is an awesome concept. He's had so many cool designs over the years.

  10. Will there be any folks last seen on the planet Granthan? LSA perhaps? That mold in purple would be popular.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No LSA lurking around for this one.

A better bet would be on seeing Phanost causing some trouble, especially if there's a chance at gaining control of the power Pheyaos possesses.

      Delete
    2. Some of us always bet on Phanost causing trouble... Also it means another Sarvos for my army.

      Delete
  11. Cant wait that dragon head is the bomb!💣💣

    ReplyDelete
  12. Any chance of a black (preferably Classified) Pheyaos?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Mine is on the desk at home. Playing with the little guy now. Such an awesome design. Thanks for having us over!

    1. Now you need that van! It's calling to you, Phil!

  14. Any fun crossovers on deck to help keep Phanost in check?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No crossovers this time, the Armorvors threatened to disintegrate the barn if we did.

      Delete
  15. Always keeping things fresh, can't wait to see the new stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I've got a new excitment for thos drop!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Here's a good question and I'm not sure it's been asked yet: Will we be seeing any of the glow in the dark blue from recent sister lines in this drop?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No GITD in this wave, though it is in the works for a later assortment.

    1. Venjorun nearly met his doom after a brutal battle with a Dark Delphi, though rumor has it that he was mostly regenerated by Varteryx technology ...

      Delete
    2. Woah, I had to re-read to catch that, the Varteryx's tech saved him? Is he friend or foe to Glyaxia and to the Verteryx? The 'Cybernetics' mentioned in the teaser is starting to make me think that Gary is on to something...And don't get me started on speculation on 'Dark Delphi' what in the world does that look like?!?

  20. I'm really excited when I hear Phanost, because that means Sarvos! Original Sarvos and those bug eyes are my favorite, always happy to see them back. And I've just gotten into painting customs, so it'd be great to have more Sarvos around...

And as someone who enjoys purple (only second to green), any chance Phanost arrives in this royal hue this go around?

    ReplyDelete
  21. You will definitely see Phanost and his mold mates in the purple.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Any buildstation offerings this round or soon? I've been jonesing for some new blank-ish boys!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No significant Buildstation in this new mix, though there will be another mostly unpainted Pheyaos to check out.

      Delete
  23. Will we see a new mystery figure this go round?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No Mystery figure this time. On a related note, some of the upcoming late October wave contains characters for what was almost another Mystery theme.
