Time continues to move like lightning, no matter how much we try to pull and stretch it! Another belated but sincere thank you for keeping the lights on over here throughout the summer!
These are stranger days than most of us probably truly understand, so being able to push creative projects through despite the tumultuous state of the world is a true privilege that we owe to each of you. To keep things in perspective, I'm trying to also see through the eyes of my future self, which most likely will witness a much leaner and meaner strayline world to come. For now, we'll keep things moving in unexpected and different directions, following the law of nature to evolve or fade away.
Speaking of the unexpected, we have a little extra addendum to Wave 108 that will crawl forth from the Phrangoss Evo-Pools this Sunday, August 31st, at 9:30PM EDT. It's a small round that was created to show our appreciation to you guys for making Wave 108 an especially strong assortment.
If you like extra weird builds, then this mini bonus chapter might give you a laugh over the Labor Day weekend.

Very curious! Will this little drop have another Zulloid appearance? I really liked the special builds with the Kydrothi head and the Toyfinity arm (even if the latter was a "parts sold seperately" deal), so I've been curious to see how crazy he can get!

I’m still struggling to find time to build out his (its?) minions even a month later between sending a zillion kids to school and keeping my route nice and fat with pumpkin season here. But they’ll come. Aye, they’ll come soon enough.
ReplyDeleteMy headcanon has swung these guys toward Viyer and his cronies, maybe with a detour to Tromaville along the way. Escaped rejects, maybe, or other imperfect half forms. The colors are close enough…a sort of muddied up gatekeeper vibe, or bloodied, or polluted otherwise.
Phrangoss definitely covers the reject department, along with a crew of gooey goons.
DeleteWhen working on this mini wave, all new art was generated for the "areas" that required a new view of some ugly mugs.
Phrangoss is also rumored to keep a Traveler deep within the hold of its ship, unwilling fodder for a multitude of bizarre genetic experiments.
Great surprise! This year has brought so many new creatures to the Glyos system, it only feels fitting that Pheyden finds himself forged anew in the gross-out Phrangoss treatment. Curious are these two in the same faction of Mauve and pink or are we looking at an expansion of the green from Noboto’s return? -Witchwitchwitch

DeleteThere were a few things that we didn't produce due to the global situation when we originally made Wave 108. These stragglers crawling into the store tonight represent a very unique event that has rarely occurred within our system of production, as this Wave 108-B is a direct and fairly immediate expansion to 108-A.
The unpredictable nature of the world right now does sometimes result in creative ways of solving problems.
