Infinite Systems

The unpredictable currents of 2025 continue to push this old ship into uncharted territories, but thanks to each of you, we've stayed afloat. The last mini wave, in conjunction with the ongoing silver Buildstation selections, allowed us to pour our resources into something extra special for the upcoming Wave 109.

Back in late June we had the great fortune of being part of the first Infinite Legions debut, revealed by our longtime brothers and Legions creators, the Four Horsemen. It's been a true dream project to fold Pheyden and some of his friends (and enemies) into the incredible Legions format and scale, fusing our different design principles together to create brand new versions of the characters.

During the process, our two companies decided to keep the back and forth going beyond just the Legions size, resulting in yet another iteration of the Traveler that propelled him right back into the Glyos System itself.

Join us here this Sunday, October 12th at 9:30PM EDT, as we warp into the next phase of the continuing Infinite Pheyden collaborative project!

  3. Oh man, I wasn't expecting him for a couple months at least! I'm excited to see this sculpt in person. Is this wave the one you teased in a reply to me last month, or did we shift gears a little?

    1. The Kydrothi were probably not expecting these new developments ...

  4. Very much looking forward to seeing this guy and what the Intruders make of him. From memory he's a beefcake, any details on part count and height?

    1. Quick Stats:
      Name: Infinite Pheyden
Height: Just shy of 4" (about 3.875 inches)
Parts Count: 18 (plus 4 Switch Pins)
Special Features: Includes 3 different heads, removable Traveler scarf, removable/reversible Traveler Belt and Phase Arm Cannon.
Has female fit functions on bottoms of both feet and the back of the torso. Hands are "narrative" sculpts, with a gripping right hand and an open left hand (an echo of the original Pheyden).

The proportions, though larger than an original Pheyden, were carefully considered during the "translation" of the original larger scale sculpt into the new smaller format. The limbs were adjusted numerous times throughout the lengthy back and forth in particular, with the intention of making them work with the general range of our existing figures and accessories. When combined with a standard Traveler, you can pull off a pretty good "hybrid" form with the Infinite parts. Very reminiscent of Mega Man X proportions.

This Glyos scale Infinite Pheyden went far beyond a simple shrinking down of an existing larger figure, as it possesses an entirely different set of functional solutions. Eric and Bill really went the distance and literally accommodated every torturous request that I submitted (and there were many drawings).

I could go on about the significance of finally bringing the old "Adult Pheyden" concept into reality, but maybe that should be saved for an actual blogpost. Haha.

  5. Exciting to see! I'm already thinking of how this will build with the Gauss armror from Toy Pizza

    1. You have to be a little clever about it, but there are some neat swaps to be discovered between the two.

    2. Make sure to also cross-build with the Manglors range of figures, as you'll find some very intentional combinations woven through the parts.

  6. Cannot wait to see the full reveal!

  7. Can we expect Pheyden Blue and matching accessories as one of his first appearance colorways as a Legionnaire?

Also back during Game of Hope 2023 you had a little friend you were working on that appeared to be a cross between a Delphi and some RxH Pheyaos influence. Did he ever get much further beyond the sculpting process as you try things?

    1. You will definitely see Pheyden Blue tomorrow night, which matches the Strayline Pheyden PVC from a few months back.

I had a couple bits floating around in my pocket at that show, one of which continues to get chipped away at.

  9. Very excited to see what's in store Sunday! What kinda colors can we expect? I'm dreaming of that glow orange from the recent Oozarian Battle Tribes release on the Anti-Pheyden. I'm also curious who might accompany the new arrival to the Glyos universe, Vor's or Delphi?

    1. The color selection actually matches previous runs from earlier this year, so most of you guys will have build options already at the ready (hence part of the decision not to run accessories this time).

There will only be three selections tomorrow night, to try and keep things easy and direct for this extra special debut. We'll get back into the usual rhythm very soon.

    2. Are you talkin' about Wave 108? I'm asking for a friend. His name is Phanost.

    3. Affirmative! Tell Phanost that Anti-Pheyden wants to warp in first.

  10. Oh boy! I can't wait for this Pheyden! Might this be THE Halloween wave, with the fabled Kydrothi action?

    1. These new recruits will definitely end up in a confrontation with the First Children, just not quite yet.

I will tell you this, the Kydrothi and Waellex know far more about the origin of the Infinite Pheyden than any Traveler would ever believe.

  11. Pheyden hasn’t just been messing around with that intruder/kydrothi/waellex tech, I see.

Somehow I see this as Pheyden being part of an interdimensional foreign exchange process, wherein he exchange. He’s brought back GOODIES!

    1. Zen! In some ways, you're on the right track. The general story is pretty deep in regard to why these Infinite Pheydens (Travelers) exist within the Cosmic and Glyos arcs, but most of that will be revealed over the next few months and into next year.

We worked very closely with the 4H to carefully blend the different narratives so that the project has room to grow naturally, at either scale.

  12. Here's hoping we see some Cosmic Legions characters make their Glyos debut!

    1. Many elements of this new sculpt are direct Cosmic Legions design translations that have been recombined and aesthetically synthesized, now allowing for some classic Glyos play patterns.

In many ways, it's the first time you can really "comfortably" carry Cosmic Legions around in your pocket (though I know Pj was toting Slogg around in a fanny pack for at least 4 months until he nearly blew a disc).

  13. Excited to see what's in store for tomorrow, especially given the genesis of this particular Traveler.

Can we expect any Sincrodrone action this wave as well, or any Accessory Sets and Mites?

    1. This wave is intentionally small, with just three styles of the Infinite Pheyden available at launch.

Since it's the initial rollout of this Glyos compatible version, we wanted to put the entire focus on just this brand-new mold, to really give it a proper introduction.

We'll get back into the accessories and other molds as we weave this new figure into the mix of the coming waves. That being said, the colors of this trio do match certain runs that we've been releasing throughout the last few months.

    2. Hey Matt! Any chance there will a Legions Con exclusive/earlybird release of this new Pheyden? Looking forward to seeing you again!

    3. Matt! If all goes according to plan, we will have a special new Infinite Pheyden for LegionsCon (maybe two). Will be great to talk in person again!

  14. Incredibly excited for this drop! Brett and I have been gassing each other up all weekend. It's really inspiring how you and the 4H have been able to have this back and forth to birth something new.
