Marcus and I will also be in attendance at Toy Pizza Expo all day tomorrow (Saturday June 13th) to once again celebrate the amazing community of homegrown makers that Jesse D continues to inspire through his prolific work. As always, we are super excited to catch up with everybody making the trip in person! A great selection of Bit Figs will be available, and you might even catch a sneak of some things to come.
Thank you as well for the support of the recent Infinite Pheyden Hologram Pre-Order, the full production run should be ready to ship this August.

DeleteAlready from that teaser it looks like this Varteriun is a must buy, really looks like some kind of "neo Sunstorm" colorway with the orange highlights-on-Ultra Gold here. Really glad to see more of the Delphi parts pool make its way back in, missed out on all those releases so far and hoping for at least a full one in this drop. Curious how the parts distribution on this new birdie is gonna play out given the new head replaced the Varteryx head in the Glyarmor, will this come with a full Glyarmor set too?
ReplyDeleteWhat other molds can we expect for the drop too? Part of me is kinda hoping for a Zulloid, been a hot second since that got ran. Though maybe it's been long enough that the whatever the Glyans have been working on will be making their debut soon?
The Varteriun in the sneak comes in a "Conversion Kit" offering, which includes:
Delete-1 complete Delphi figure
-1 complete Glyarmor Set (the new Varteriun head and the usual Neo Sarvos head included)
-1 Traveler Scarf
-1 OSM Wing part
39 parts total plus 2 Switch Pins
The base PVC is definitely born from the Sunstorm concept, but this new hue is a more butterscotch tint, showcasing some very interesting ribbons of light and swirls under various states of illumination. Themed especially for the coming days of summer and time outside under the sun. Sort of a Phoenix composed of light energy vibe.
DeleteFrom the sounds of it this "neo Sunstorm" feels like it'd definitely shine with some outdoor photography.
DeleteSpeaking of colorways, aside from this one how many colorways should we be expecting for this drop? Any returning ones? Because this teaser build really feels like it'd really fit the dark gray/black "Origin" colors we got late last year for LegionsCon, as a sort of "angel of death" look. Hell, I could definitely go for a whole wave with that colorway...
There will be 4 total PVC colors throughout the mix tonight, but nothing that specifically matches the Origin color combo (though there will be a "Faded" gray).
DeleteI dig your angel of death concept, and we did create a number of "Dark" versions of the Varteriun while working on this wave, so down the road you might get your wish.

ReplyDeleteYou'll see the full accessories range in the "Pearlescent Butterscotch", as well as Axis Joint Sets in 3 additional colors and maybe an extra Phase Arm Set to boot.

DeleteI actually know the person who owns that Dark Delphi CC, so I imagine that figure is surrounded by armies of paleolithic creatures at this very moment.
I'm still curious to know who was responsible for wiping out Frontier Pheyden and crew in part one of War of the Armorvor. There's remnants of everyone from Wave 111 in this first two pages; frontier, glyarmor and vortroopers but no enforcer sarvos?

We do have the second half of Part 1 all wrapped up (and even the beginning of Part 2). The identity of who took down Frontier and his team is absolutely connected to the Armorvors, but which specific one is still a mystery.
