Original Armodoc Sketches
Here is the original page of sketches that popped out the day my second daughter was born. So I guess both Cirie and the Armodoc turn one year old in August. The second design is also shown. This started the process of breaking the figure into its components. Eventually eleven separate parts were designed for the final production piece.

How awesome is that! Just some ideas scribbled on regular stationary @ work. Now look a work of art for kids and adults to play with enjot and maybe blow up in the backyard LOL!. Can't wait for the Armordoc. Matt you're Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThere are a few head designs in there that look like they could make pretty badass helmets. Also: part of the fun of something like this is trying to figure out, "okay, which sketch came first," and following the progression from there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these, Matt!
Quite awesome. I would love to just go through Matt's things to see random doodles or scribbles... Just the idea of all the random sketches would be fascinating.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love seeing concept sketches. Best part of Episode 1.
ReplyDeleteFrickin' NUTS dude, reminds me of the pieces of paper I kep in my pocket at work to jott down notes or draw doodles on. I've gotta have like a big stack of loose-leaf paper with misc. crap on them LoL. Love stuff though, completely awesome, thanks for sharing. 8-)
ReplyDeleteMatt these sketches are just great. Its neat to see the progression on the paper slowly move towards the finished product.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing
