Armodoc Analysis
Production pieces have come together and here are the first full pics. The unpainted combined stuff shows some of the potential that the vinyl fit functions can achieve. You can build like the little guys, but now you can also build from the inside -out. Those smaller female fit functions look just about the same size diameter as a Gobon foot, don't they? Hybrid craziness is right around the corner.

Hehe!It looks like Pheyden's almost playing Dress up or something, heh.
ReplyDeleteLooks great though. It's nice to finally have a nice size comparison wtih a Glyos standard figure.
O_O!!!! AWESOME!! Holy crap, that combined Armodoc is gi-normous! O_O
ReplyDeleteOoo oOo...I'ma gonna have fun making stuff outta this guy *rubs hands together in a Mad Scientist type of way*...
I wasn't sure about the pink/gray color scheme until I saw this, and I must say that it looks perfect. Armodoc feels like an instant classic.
ReplyDeletevery cool Matt! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteWHOAH! It Lives!!!
ReplyDeleteArmodoc is bigger than I realized. $25 or $30 is an awesome price for a short-run vinyl of this size.
ReplyDeleteHe looks great Matt, really nice work. I love some of the combinations you made, but if I'm seeing it correctly things like the ship take parts from possibly 3 figures? That will be the tough part because I know I'm only gonna be able to get 1 (which will be making choices between him and the other goodies coming out too)
ReplyDeleteAll in all the Acro house approves!
you're a genius to figure out a way to make a 6 inch rotocast vinyl toy combine with 3 inch injection molded pvc... aesthetics aside, just the idea of making an integrated building system from 2 completely different type of action figure. I am always in awe of your ability
ReplyDeletePretty friggin awesome. I'm ready lay it on me
ReplyDeleteFaaaaantastic! One Armodoc looks awesome, but that enhanced model is really something else! I have a feeling I will end up with at least one in that configuration. You were right about the color scheme as well, it really does work in a bizarre sort of way.
ReplyDeleteY'know, even though it's bigger than any of the other figures, it still has that "squat" look you'd expect to see on much, much smaller pieces.
ReplyDeleteNice work!
That 5th picture is the most awesome thing I've ever seen. Words cannot describe how awesome that is. I may have to reconsider my "save money, buy foods, not Armodocs" stance.
ReplyDeleteFreakin' AWESOME!! I'm for sure gonna buy one!
ReplyDeleteHe or it? Looks totally awesome & kick butt!
Damn that looks awesome!
