721-10-15

Today marks 10 years of production Glyos, and 15 years of marriage between Michelle and I (we've been together going on 20 years). It's generic to say that the time has flown by, but it's hard not to have that feeling. Thank you for a decade of true freedom and for traveling with us down this creative path. When I time jump to the future and try to look back on these years with wiser eyes, it becomes even more clear how special this has all been.

We'll be having our 10th anniversary release on August 3rd, to make sure our latest creation can make it for supper. Starting today and leading up to the launch, we'll be posting sneaks that focus on what's in store.

Thanks a million from Michelle, Marc and I for a truly great decade. Who knows, maybe we can all squeeze in another 10 together!

  1. Woah! That foot looks new! Almost like a streamlined Noboto foot...so very glad to hear that August 3rd is the date. I'll be back from NYC by then!
From the looks of it, this drop may be pretty neutral colors? Hmm...can't wait to see what's in store!

  4. Happy dual anniversary, everyone! Hard to believe that it's been ten years already, but it's been a blast to be along for most of the ride. Seeing what's changed and how far the envelope has been pushed leaves me optimistic for the future. Keep up the immensely great work!

Oh, and posted at 7:21 pm, too. Nicely done.

  6. The anniversary drop would be coming on a day when I'm out of town with no decent wifi... this will be problematic.

Congrats on ten years, that's amazing!! I can see Glyos thriving for a long time still, especially with a community this wonderful.

Is there a chance we'll see the Gendrone resurgence this drop?

  13. Congratulations on 10 years! I can just remember seeing an article in Toyfare(?) about a guy making his own action figures and thinking "I gotta check this out." then totally forgetting about it until I stumbled across something I believe Phil Reed had posted about Glyos. Ah, good faded half-memories. :p Looking forward to the next 10, but hey not in any hurry.

  14. I remember seeing an ad in ToyFare Magazine about Glyos and thinking "Glyos? Wtf is that?", that was in the Summer of 2007.

My first time getting some to fiddle around with was in February of 2008 when a friend of mine at the time used her credit card to place my order. I got Rothan Pheyden, Solaris Exellis & a Crayboth 2-Pack. Then my buddy DoctorKent got REALLY into Glyos and would give me extra bits he had throughout that year, increasing my collection and allowing me with a larger canvas to sculpt and create on.

Fast forward to February of 2009 and I placed my first order (if memory serves, it was order number 500), I met you (Matt) at the 2009 Toy Fair for the first time and my life changed forever.

Me & my wife had our 10 year Anniversary this past Friday aswell, so when I look back in time at all the adventures her & I have had AND everything I have created over this past decade, it blows my mind.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for taking this plunge into Glyos and in doing so, allow me to fulfill the dream of my 10 yr old self: to make toys.

Congrats on one decade in the hole, here's to many more!

  18. Congratulations! You're a true, and dear friend, and hopefully Frank and I get to meet your whole family this year if the timing works out. I should be in your neck of the woods for a few weeks if things workout how we hope. It's great to see such kind people having success in life in something so meaningful to them and others. God bless you and your family, and continued blessings in the years to come. Can't wait to see the further sneak peeks.
