Well, that was insane. Huge thanks to everyone who grabbed one of the Custom Corps Wave. I learned quite a bit over the past few days and was reminded again how incredible all of your support is. The final count was double what I had projected and I've been going like a lunatic putting everything together. Because of the extra figures, I won't be shipping until Wednesday so that I can mix all the figures up fairly before the packing begins. I have just a few more to complete before that happens. All the completed figures have been photographed and documented and at some point will be posted. In the interim, here's a few shots from the assortment. Thanks again to all of you for making our latest madness a lot of fun.

OH MY GOSH MATT! THERE ARE SO MANY BEAUTIFUL FIGURES I WANT THEM ALL!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I will be happy with the two I get!
Thanks again for doing this Matt, you ARE amazing!
Okay, so I see what I think are some Microman colorways, a pair of Insecticons (or, even more obscure, Krok), and . . . curses, I feel like I should know if there's a reference in "Dokurom" (or the Govurom variants behind him), but it's just not coming to me.
ReplyDeleteThis almost feels like it should be a game, in all honesty...
Good lord, I wish I could have them all honestly. o-o They're all so well-made! Especially those last Govorum and Sarvos ones...
ReplyDeleteI want the last govurom and sarvos, the purple white and black is so hot.
ReplyDeleteRoy, what areInsecicon, Krok and Dokurom?
Email me, I'm stupid. :9
Deo: "Insecticons" and "Krok" are Transformers, back from the late '80s and early '90s. "Dokurom" is just the name of the .jpg that shows the black/grey, yellow/green, and red/tan Govuroms, so I inferred from that.
ReplyDeleteYou have outdone yourself Mr. Doughty...outdone yourself.
ReplyDeleteso sorry i couldn't have shown some support i just didn't have the cash
ReplyDeleteAnd have you noticed anything about the sarvos on the left?

WOW! All these figures look soooo tight! I agree with Deo and Michael En, I wish I could get all of these! But it will be very cool to own a unique or semi-unique figure. The Glyos line just keeps getting better and better! You will always have my support Matt.
ReplyDeleteI love the design of the Black/ Purple/ yellow Sarvos & Phaonst & the dual colored headed Phanost
ReplyDeleteYeah, I noticed that as well Onell. There was actually a Sincroid color-schemed one as well. It looks pretty interesting, like an ancient version of Sarvos.
ReplyDeleteOR & Michael: It's the sculpt for the "Nobotos" character from the Rechlen & Aves books -- the apparent "leader" of the Lost Sincroid Army...
ReplyDeleteNobotos, huh? Interesting name. I really do need to get the books for these so I actually have an idea of what these characters are about, and not just like them for their aesthetics, heh.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else thing that the last Govorum and Sarvos totally look like Skeletor from MOTU? Look at this Skeletor and compare http://www.he-man.org/news_images/MOTUC/motuc_skeletor3.jpg
ReplyDeleteOh yeah I do see a similarity brian, but the .jpg tittle says deceptivom making me think there is a transformers connection. Hmmmmm. On a different note...I totally must have a Glow Clear Crew set! I love the color combos here and that Phanost with a dual color head is dope!
ReplyDeleteFantastic looking figures! Can't wait to see what I get! Its killing me that there is no way to be a completist with these figures; my OCD hates you! LOL
ReplyDeleteKeep the up the great work.
Soooo nice. I anticipate the box so bad.
ReplyDeleteDamn, just thought of a nice one - ALIEN inspired Phanost head, with the white underskull in a smoked clear head.
i still need to get the books .:D are they any good? im guessing the answer is yes so ill buy them soon
ReplyDeleteLiquid Gold figures, Skeletor
ReplyDeletecolors, clear head with visible
brain?, and cool shoulder armor!
Wooowee! The anticipation grows
even more for the mailman to
bring those figures.
man.. I'm not going to be saying anything unique here.. but I am so looking forward to these guys.. especially after the odd week I've been having... but they all look so awesome.. I'm glad we were all limited to two.. because I don't doubt that just a few of us would have wiped you out otherwise.. :D
ReplyDeletethey're all amazing.. I'm so happy I could be a part of it.
Shipped today? :D
ReplyDeleteAnyone get their order yet? If so what figure(s) did you get? Still waiting anxiously for mine! Maybe it'll show up today! Can't wait!

ReplyDeleteHey guys, quick update. Nothing has gone out yet, but the last figures are finally packed up. Jesse was out here at the house for the past 3 days and his contributions have taken this project to the next level. The final figure total for the run is right around 70 figures. I'm sorry that they have not shipped, but I wanted to make sure that EVERY figure got my full attention and none of them were rushed. For what it's worth, I've literally been working on this stuff for the entire past week (the work area is insane looking!). All the figures have been photographed and all the artwork has been scanned. Thanks to everyone for the extra patience on this craziness. I hope that all of you really like the stuff that we've cooked up. Once the figures start to circulate the reasons for the extended wait should become easier to understand.
ReplyDeletei hope so Matt because damn waiting for these is like INTENSE lol but all addictions are
ReplyDeleteOh that news hurts! I'm glad that you spent so much time on these figures Matt, but I am going crazy with anticipation! You're right OnellRoolz, these figures have become and addiction and I am always craving the next fix! I'm a damn junkie!
ReplyDeleteHey wait OnellRoolz, I thought you weren't able to order any of these new figures? Found a way to get one?
ReplyDeletei did some things no man should ever do lol no i did a few trades with Matt i made him a few things for the blog so look forward to seeing some cool things later this month
ReplyDeleteNo problem Matt, I was hoping to get mine this weekend, but I can wait.
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited, thanks so much for all the hard work Matt. :)
