After three solid weeks of hardcore scraping, sanding and packing, the new stuff is finally ready to go. Orders will begin shipping tomorrow (Thursday) and continue to go out into Saturday. Coming right off of SDCC, we knew the task of getting everything solid was going to be rough, and man were we right. Some unforeseen hiccups in production overseas caused an excessive amount of work to be placed on us for this release. I want to personally thank everyone for once again showing great patience and understanding as our small boat navigates the unpredictable ocean of making toys. This was our largest release of stuff yet, and we remain dedicated to bringing something new with each wave. Special thanks as well for making the Armodoc launch a success. The next round of them will have a larger run (with all new colors) and should stick around for a bit. I really appreciate all of you giving that little vinyl meatball a chance. Well, back to the trenches to get the shipping madness started! -Matt

Excellent stuff, Matt! Hopefully this means you get to take at least a small breather. I've been worried about you, man. Working hard is a good thing, but you gotta know when to let yourself step back and take a break. Congrats on getting this wave done and in record time, considering the setbacks. You're living the dream all us toy geeks have, warts and all! Thanks for doing all you do, buddy!
ReplyDeleteNo my thanks go to you guys for making new my favorite toys. I easily play with these all the time & always need more parts as I go through them so fast with all the customs I make. I am looking forward to the next batch of Armodocs alot & will have to save up to order more then 1 this time.

ReplyDeleteI am blown away by the creativity that gives these pieces of PVC (and vinyl) such life! I agree you guys should take a break after all the orders go out, but with your plans for CC3, King Crayboth, and the Real x Head collab, I know you won't rest for long. :)
But hey, I know making your ideas into tangible objects must be as satisfying as when we get them in our hands, so keep living the dream!! Can't wait to see what comes next!!!

Came home from an all day shift to find my order waiting for me. So so glad I snatched up a Nemica Gobon, this dude looks bloody awesome when holding him up to a light. Normally I'd say something like "I can't wait until the next wave!", but you guys really need a vacation from all the hard (and muchly appreciated) work you guys do. Can't be expressed enough, so I'll just end with a lame emoticon. :D
