  1. Whoa, that animation is flipping nuts. Cady killing it again with another masterpiece. Always happy for some Pheyaos action and really looking forward to this addition. How large of a wave will 95 be? - ROBOTIMMS

    1. Rob! Cady lent me moral support as Marcus and I worked through that animation. We didn't want to torture her by having to draw all those weird Pheyaos shapes over and over (especially that left shoulder). That being said, she is working on something special for this launch.

The wave is a decent size, and most likely marks the temporary end of the bigger assortments, due to the continued production delays in China and tightening economy. The next few waves are smaller in comparison and will hopefully cycle a little faster in their appearances here.

  3. The return of RxH! <3

    Will there be any crossovers?

    1. Multiple crossovers will be at the ready.

Mori and I have been working on this particular new character intermittently since back in 2015, so the project has been simmering for a good chunk of time, and it is definitely a weird one!

    2. It's been a minute since we've seen a crossover that included... Men, from Outer Space .... has that era come and gone?

    3. Tad, I hope not, I'm itching for a new Onell Design x OSM crossover again. I love those thing, they're the front row of my OSM shelves. (And Healey Made too if anyone out there is reading.)

  4. Gnarly!!! New parts or new armor for Pheyaos? Looks like we might be seeing some white metallic PVC this round, any accessories and other figures in that same colorway? Buildman and especially the Sincroborg would be a nice companion to Pheyaos!

    1. Also, this Circuits and Brains track really sets the mood!

    2. The new offering will remain a bit of a secret until this Thursday, but I will say it does combine with Pheyaos to open up some new evolutions and "aberrations". It also works well with a number of figures from other Glyos makers, with specific intentions of cross compatibility woven into the design.

The artwork is meant to reflect the semi transparent white that has been run in past waves, with that "milky clear" effect. A slightly different variation of Bio Paralyzer. There will be some matching accessories and multiple figures offered in this PVC.
I always thought that this particular PVC really had the look of a molt, like something was generating beneath it. In this case of the new animation and this wave, maybe something was.

No Buildman this time, but there will be a Sincroborg, just run in a different color.

Glen, as always, delivered another killer and original tune. He's a beast!

    3. Bio Paralyzer takes me back to my early days of Glyos, a lot of inspiration came from those winter shots you took of the Bio-Paralyzer Glyarmor. I’m always on board for some SFX milky PVC! Curious if the Villser or Quallerran maybe lurking around that Biovessel?

    4. Makes me happy reading that you liked those old pics. There's something so satisfying about spending time outdoors, especially in the snow, with a pocket full of little figures. That simple experience is very much at the heart of what we grew up with, and what we try to carry on around here with our small contributions to that ideology.

No Villser or Quallerran this time, but there will be some unexpected offerings afoot.

  7. Audio and visuals on point, mutant evolver living up to its name!
White and pink is giving me Enigma Guardian vibes, any purple in the mix? And I've been looking very closely at the teaser and I think I see just a tiny bit of assymetry in there, is doubling up an option for a symetrical look?

    1. Ryan! The core design of the new parts is meant to reflect a number of the things that both Mori and I grew up with. Emulating aspects of the "crazy bad guy" character designs that were embodied in the figure lines of the 90s played a major part of how we approached the project. Mori loved TMNT and I loved Toy Biz and McFarlane. We wanted a shared villain that could cause trouble for Pheyden, Chaos and Pheyaos, all the way across our interconnected worlds.

Sprinkle in our mutual love and admiration for the late, great Yasushi Nirasawa and you get close to what we'll be serving this coming week. Lots of the asymmetric narrative sculpting we both lean towards (he has a bad ear and I have a bad eye), but also the classic functionality we adhere to that's informed by some of the good old "take the top part of the arm out and flip it around configuration", just with some really strange parts.

We tried to hide a number of fun forms that can be achieved with one complete figure, and when I was sculpting, I did my best to highlight these basic options during the process.

    2. Sounds awesome! Can see all of those notes come through from the silhouette alone so I can't wait to see it in all its glory!

I'm a big Halo fan so I'm hoping this thing could give some poor Pheydens the Flood treatment.

Really cute floating around free him

  9. Ohohohoho, I am hyped. When Onell and Realxhead collab, it's always a treat. Art and the animation was insane too, love all the organic detail to Pheyaos (and that jumpscare, lol)

    1. There will be 2 Glyans available. One in the usual layout, and one that has a number of "extras".

  14. You know…I can swear I saw some of those new arm parts built into the…thing…that absorbed poor Pheyaos.

I always love to see pink show up, but bio paralyzer is quite sweet as well. A poor bio paralyzer Pheyden took on our riding lawn mower some years ago. Found the head embedded into a tree a few months ago. Or my wife did. At any rate it was found. Both hands and feet survived. The rest is worms’ food.
    Killer promo short!

    1. That left-handed perception at work, Zen! There are definitely some secrets hidden in that animation.

I hope you resurrect that dismembered Pheyden with the parts coming this week!

    2. I think that particular Pheyden is sporting a heavy axis suit after recovering from its trip through the mower. Some of him anyway.

Any chance of seeing gobon and friends that getup? Or swing joints?

  17. I am excite!! Is there any chance of another blank Crayboth 2x pack somewhere down the road? Have build ideas but need lots of the little fellas!!

  18. Good to see one more before the end of 2022, especially a new collab with Mori. And it's great to see a new animation, too, complete with a little C&B soundscape.

(Also excited to see some mechanical action, but you know I'm biased on that front...)

  20. I love the direction the Mutant Evolver is going. I'm getting some definite Parasitic Halkennite vibes.
Once again, Glyos kindles this old imagination and brings a sense of wonder rarely experienced since my childhood days of plowing through the Sears Wishbook!
See you Thursday night (or Friday morning, depending on my wonky work schedule).

  21. Gah!! That thing looks nuts! Only saw this post today thanks to Pat Bussey's Instagram page, but I'm glad I found out before the drop happened! I was wondering if we would see a final Onell drop for 2022, and I'm glad you guys will be closing the year out with a bang- or maybe a screech, slorp and a snarl would be more accurate? Can't wait to see the reveals! Keep up the excellent work guys! 👏

  22. Can't wait to make some art after seeing what emerges from the star ways tonight! Good luck Matt and team!

  23. Good Morning Sirs! I am awake from my coma, but I feel like I am living in a very happy dream! I see the graphic images moving on the screen as the very nice Marcus has suggested and i no longer see shadows on a cave wall, no sir, I see the soul of an artist brought to life before my very eyes! My Pheyden is clean of dog dirt and remains unharmed, my moped is primed with WOS (Whisky Oxide), my street freestyle winnings are ready to be transferred to your bank! Finally my own milky clear creations will be replaced by those of the master! See you tonight! Good Morning Sirs! Kevin.
