Unfathomably excited for these colors already (pun intended). Can we expect to see any build men or phaseons in this or near future drops?

DeleteThe glacial blue reminds me of the Nemica Frost Pheyden (one of my faves) and the picture itself reminds me of the Intruder under ice for wave 100.
ReplyDeleteReferences to oceans makes me think of Relgost, close to the rift and could explain that Gauss fugitive, or is this a place we haven't seen before?
And, will there be other crossover action, lots of glyos oceanlife to pick from now thanks to Coffey!

DeleteYou're very on target with your Relgost comment. It's a planet heavy on the ocean action, and I always wanted to explore its deeper significance and the secret denizens of its abyssal areas.
For crossover action, the main event features our spin on the work we did with the great Jesse D on the Crae Drake/Naval Deep project, though you will not see Crae or his shipmates themselves (though you will see some of their wardrobe).
Looking forward to seeing and hearing more about these. I'm a big lotr fan and loved the story of the Teleri.
DeleteWhen your version of Gauss debuted my hunch was that it might've been a captive, and then escapee of Rlyehzoth and his Labyrinth, the only place I could think of making a Relgost Fugitive. Maybe it was one of these new guys that was metamorphed?

DeleteI’m unbelievably excited to see what you make happen with the Naval Deep. Your original art and concepts for Cly Nonan have been stuck in my brain since you showed them off in the Sea of Daggers stream!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Noah! Cly Nonan was created back in the 90s, and at one point was a big focus for me, generating tons of drawings, stories and many ship designs.
DeleteThe character was connected "in-world" with a couple of my other old stories, particularly Sol Ballim (a fossil armored bigfoot who flies a sentient golden starship across space), Cane (a veteran soldier of the original pre-Glyos "Old War" who hunts down his nefarious clones) and of course Rechlen and Aves.
I've contemplated on many occasions bringing Cly into the modern Glyos world as a "Pirate Liner", traveling the system on a cosmic clipper and protecting peaceful creatures from the likes of the Naval Deep.
So no Halloween theme this year? I miss having an hallowden!!

DeleteSea glass comes to mind. I see an opaque angular piece that’s reminiscent of Geodraxus. This journey into unknown depths has me curious, we’ve met so many of the Delphi’s analogues (Kydrothi, Waellex & Equisarren) will the Delphi themselves be our guide on this exploration? Part of me thinks this could be a smaller wave, but then again 2024 has felt like Onell Design is finally back in the swing of things with more frequent drops, and that makes me think we might get a full roster for 103. -Witchwitchwitch
ReplyDeleteYour instincts are pretty on the money, with a couple clear PVC colors landing in the mix. Each style that they feature in are inspired by different parts of the ocean.
DeleteThough the Delphi are no doubt observing from afar, they will once again remain in the shadows for this assortment. However, something previously undetected on Planet Relgost is finally bubbling back up to the surface.
We've been working hard to get the flow into something that feels consistent but not overwhelming. This wave is definitely smaller than the last one, but still has some decent variety and a few deluxe offerings as well.
That almost looks pink to me.
