Thank You!!!

Thank you for an excellent Wave 107! The smaller assortment seemed to hit the right note, even though stock did not quite match up with the larger influx of folks visiting the store, resulting in a faster than usual sell through. We'll continue to adjust everything as we navigate the continuously shifting importation landscape to find the right balance. Expect a very small restock once we clear all existing orders out.

The shipping has been steadily moving, with the packages starting to hit the post today, this weekend and into Monday/Tuesday (lots of packages). Speaking of today and the weekend ...

Tonight. June 6th at 8PM EDT, we'll be joining our old friends the 4H for a livestream that debuts their Infinite Legions project. We've been extremely lucky and honored to have worked with the whole Horsemen team on the development of this initial offering, which features Pheyden. Long time folks may also see some other familiar Glyos characters sporting brand new looks thanks to the fusion of aesthetics and larger format that the incredible Legions line delivers. Beyond the figures themselves, you'll also get a special look behind the whole process through a small series of videos that were created especially for the Infinite Legions project. Special thanks to Brad Treadaway for wrangling all the mavericks into one place! I'll be posting more about the project and will delve deeper into the specifics over the coming weeks.

Continuing the announcements of immediate and important events, Toy Pizza Expo and Five Points Fest have combined and their show will be in full effect starting tomorrow morning, May 7th and spilling right over into Sunday out in Beacon, NY and we will be there for both days. Jesse D, Josh and Miranda (Clutter) have been working like crazy with The Yard to coordinate an event unlike anything that has ever come before it.

With a mix of creatives both local and from afar, this "Woodstock of Toys" has grown far beyond only plastic and plush. Those in attendance will be awash in a steady stream of live music, a large variety of fresh local food, distinctive craft beer, professional tattoo artists and even live painting! Imagine the freeform energy of your favorite weekend flea market but populated by many of your favorite artists and musicians. We're again honored to be in attendance right alongside the 4H and our Glyos brethren consisting of Jesse D, Jesse Moore, John, Brandon and Dan! If you're able to make it to the show, please swing by the table and we can talk shop!

Thank you for sticking with us through these turbulent times. We'll keep working hard to try and make things that hopefully bring you a little bit of happiness during the ups and downs.

Wave 107 is GO!!!

  Wave 107 is live!

Extra special thanks go out from all the alternate Straylines to Dillon for the above pinup!

Note: Please place only ONE ORDER WITHIN THE FIRST HOUR TONIGHT. We will lift all limits after the first hour. Thanks for your cooperation. Have Fun!

We are still only shipping domestically (and to Canada) for this wave. We sincerely apologize to our international customers for the situation.

Strayline Survivors

Though we're living through a time that's truly doing a number on our collective hobby, we're trying our best to stay right down in the trench, ducking and weaving while operating in survival mode.

Our "normal" way of releasing new waves will continue to evolve as we adapt to the shifting situations that are shuffling around all of us. You're going to sometimes see a mini wave pop up out of nowhere, like the one going in the store tonight, May 29th, at 9:30PM EDT. We'll have four new figures along with a small selection of accessories to check out for wave 107.

Continuing the arc from Wave 106, we wanted to explore what Govurom might have seen after he was vaporized by the Buildman Infiltrator at the end of their fateful encounter on Granthan. Perhaps Govurom witnessed an alternate timeline open up as he traveled over to the other side, a kind of "Strayline", where the events that carved the path of known reality never came to pass. What if Pheyden never made it to Granthan in time to awaken the Buildman that would become the heroic Argen? What if something else got there first with a different plan? Straylines that can lead anywhere ...

Back from the Past

To keep pace with the chaotic unknown that continues to unfold across the planet, we're going to spring a little surprise release out there tonight, April 17th at 9:30PM EDT with the intention of offering a temporary space to have a bit of fun within the current hell capsule that we're all navigating.

This will be a proper mini assortment, so we'll officially call it Wave 106, though it's a bit different than our usual rollouts, as it features a couple "countermeasure" figures that contain parts from long retired molds in combination with currently active ones.

Back in 2012 and 2013, we disposed of the original Govurom head mold (final runs in 2012) and the first Exellis head/chest/pelvis mold (final runs in 2013). Right before we closed those molds down, we produced some secret runs of the parts, holding them back for all these years, waiting for the right time for their release. Though assorted Govurom heads have popped up as random freebies in orders over the last decade, we never ran a "Standard" Govurom full production figure that reflected his appearance in the first Passcode and the first Custom Corps

Well, after 13 years, Govurom finally gets his moment tonight, decked out in extra paint, poncho armor (thanks Jesse D and Erwin) and a soft goods "Renegade" cloak. Accompanying the craggy half-Traveler/half-Sincroid will be the "Last Exellis", using central components that were run back in 2013 and never released until now. To round out Wave 106 we'll also have a third figure available, which connects directly to the ultimate fate of old Govurom.

If you're a longtime fan of Glyos, then this little assortment might be an extra special one for you.

Thank You!!!

A belated but genuine thank you for the great response to Wave 105! Your continued support is what keeps us exploring different ideas, developing new assortments and expanding the line with our fellow makers. The fact that we're still busy after nearly 18 years is a testament to your dedication and partnership throughout all the dimensions Glyos has traveled through. Words will never cover how grateful we are over here, especially as the larger world shifts faster and faster all around us.

The exploration of the Traveler is the subtle theme we're concentrating on for 2025, and multiple special collaborative projects are entering into their final stages as I write this (hence the delay in checking in). If you like Pheyden and the Travelers, then this should be a fun year to rumble around in.

Speaking of crossovers, make sure to head over to the Toyfinity site tonight, March 28th, at 9:30PM EDT for a new assortment of Manglors action! For those who read our last comic with the amazing Dillon Wheelock and saw the pin up by painting powerhouse Sen, you'll get a chance to have life imitate art with a couple of John's latest monstrosities! A special extra thanks goes out to Erwin Papa for his continued contributions to the Glyos world. You'll get to see even more of his exceptional work in the year to come.

The current release schedule here is to have a small round of new/old figures available in mid-April (long time folks should especially get a kick out of what's on deck), with a normal sized assortment set for late May. We're actively pulling the sizes of the waves in a bit while we see how the current international situation plays out. This also means more Buildstation type lower priced options surfacing within the waves this year, to hopefully balance the rising costs of things. A little more burger thinking to go along with the steaks.

I tried to keep it brief, as not to torture, but thank you once again for sticking with us as we push the engines!

Wave 105 is GO!!!

  Wave 105 is live!

Sen completely captured the old 80s Japanese box art vibe with the outstanding illustration above! Just imagine discovering the Bulker Suit Team on a shelf someplace in another timeline! I think this is one of your best, Sen! Thank you!

Note: Please place only ONE ORDER WITHIN THE FIRST HOUR TONIGHT. We will lift all limits after the first hour. Thanks for your cooperation. Have Fun!

Destinies cross deep in the Wreckage Nexus! Dillon Wheelock continues to elevate everything we do over here with his incredibly insightful visual storytelling. Working together with Dillon on these stories is a true privilege and I couldn't be more excited for what's to come. Thank you, Dillon!

More story bridge related fun to check out as we rumble up to the new wave! This was a satisfying puzzle to solve and has a number of secret options to swap around. I imagine this heavy colossus causing some major programming shifts in Argen's perspective on what constitutes definable mechanical "life".

Affected Connections

Suit up and explore the Wreckage Nexus,
this Sunday, February 23rd at 9:30PM EST!

To kick off our first wave of 2025, we're trying something a little different. Check out the link below for a "bridge comic' that we worked on with the ever-impressive Dillon Wheelock, which sets the stage for Wave 105 while also delving deeper into the Dark Vortex. Have fun!

Flying Vipers - Off World

Off World, the third LP from Flying Vipers, is arriving this April on Easy Star Records!

From the album title to the back illustration, there are some deep-rooted connections to the Glyos System, and we have a few fun things planned for later this year as well.

The second single, "Believers & Deceivers", dropped today on all streaming platforms, and the album can be pre-ordered now on vinyl and cassette.

Many thanks to my brother Matt for helping us flesh out the Vipers in-world look from day one, and to the community crossover support over the past decade!

Thank You and Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year and a Vortex-sized thank you for allowing us to welcome 2025 in one piece! We're extra grateful for your support of Wave 104, especially with it landing late in the holiday season. Hopefully as each package arrives a little extra Santa vibe will accompany it.

The Dark Vortex concept is yet another project on the list that's been quietly simmering for a number of years, first taking root when John Kent of Toyfinity and I were discussing the early development of his third robotic figure, then called the Zetonian. From the onset, the goal was for this new design to have multiple core forms, serving each of our ongoing separate (yet still connected) story narratives. Those primary forms were the Zetonian and the Mechabon.

During the process of creating the actual hand sculpted/hand machined prototypes with the great Ron Daley, we also started hiding other sub-form "tributes" within the parts, a number of which have still yet to be realized with full production runs. That being said, the eventual "Sincromillian" homage was maybe the one that John and I wanted to see come to fruition the most. One secret Max to follow in the wake of another very important Maxx.

Homages can be tricky to navigate just right, for a number of reasons. The Dark Vortex wave leans heavily into the somewhat overlooked property that inspired its creation, intending to serve as a loving tribute to the incredible creatives who brought the original film to life. I still watch it on the regular and consider myself incredibly lucky to have actually seen it in the theatres when it first rolled out.

A special omega thank you goes out to Dillon and Sen! Dillon generated yet another outstanding series of illustrations for the latest wave, capping off 2024 with more completely original Glyos-centric comic art than we've seen in literally years. Running parallel in creativity, Sen drafted one exceptional pinup after another, imbuing even older characters with cinematic life and iconic compositions. The deep personal gratitude I feel towards these two incredible artists can't properly be put into words.

2024 saw a multitude of brand-new Glyos-based projects come to life, from resident superhuman Marcus' long awaited and absolutely amazing new Bit Figs: Dreadvalken series, to Jesse D's first release of his status quo smashing Sea of Daggers collection, followed by Rocom's incredible Mighty Maniax world expanding Dark Earth project (a rare KS campaign both run and delivered in the same year)!

Our brother Pj surprised everybody with his second independently funded full production figure, the Velgerian, flipping things creatively upside down in the best way possible. Cappy continued his awesome partnership with Pat as they expanded their connected worlds with more Mischiever action as they unleashed the completely new Draga mold and even more fantastic accessory kit action!

Further proving his dedication to the format, Cappy also partnered with Sam of Angry Hedgehog Toys to activate the astonishing robotic Colossi of Chaos range of figures. Toyfinity then drove another surprise release into the spotlight with the emergence of the wicked Mangloskull, "fleshing" out an already sinister Manglors lineup. It was a good year to be into this stuff.

As of this writing, all orders placed since the launch have gone out. Processing, packing and shipping took a little longer than usual due to the holiday crossover, but Michelle and I did our best to keep things moving and still attend to the festivities. Turnaround will pick up the pace for our next wave that's scheduled to arrive in mid-February.

Thank you again for supporting and being part of this ongoing experiment, especially in these increasingly unpredictable times.

The things we make aren't essential items in the grand scheme of things, not even remotely close, but know that they are each born from a true love of the hobby we all share together, even after all these years.
