Returned and Recovered

We had a great time out in San Diego this year. Saw all our old friends and made a lot of new ones. Some incredible little toy companies out there, we were all very honored to be around all those great creative minds (and crazy hard workers). It's taken us a little longer than normal to get back on our schedule this year, post con. Thanks to everyone who put in orders for the new stuff while we were out there, we are finally finished up with shipping all that plastic! The Lamour/Triclops heads landed on Saturday at the con and craziness ensued. Thanks to Master Mold Maker and all around workhorse, Ron Daley, for cranking all those heads out. To everyone who still wants a set, we are cobbling something together that should be cool. Speaking of those heads, check out the new pictures and let us know what you guys think. We call this version the Shadow Set, and it has a darker feel to it. Joel, Rob and Luc -you guys are amazing designers and all around human beings, thanks for being part of this mash up. Thanks again to everyone who came by the booth and spent time talking with us, we all had a great time meeting up and look forward to doing it again next year.

Real Type Invasion

All new colorways have arrived just in time for the San Diego Comic Con (booth #4937 ). This wave of Pheyden and Exellis colors pays homage to the classic "Real Type" color schemes found in many imported Japanese model kits that we loved as kids (like Ma.K.). These "realistic" sets of colors were more subdued, conveying a militarized and industrial tone that gave those old Sci-Fi models a harder edge. Kind of like the Space Marines in Aliens or the first few waves of GI Joe in the early 80's. A lot of the Zentradai in Macross had these slightly muted tones as well. I've always gravitated towards these Real Type colors and love seeing our familiar old characters try them on for size. Hope you guys enjoy them and be on the lookout for more new releases in August and September (more clear and more Real Type). Oh yeah, a very limited edition of Sarvos and Phanost will be available later this week. We will debut them at SDCC and also offer them online. A brand new 98 page, full color and perfect bound Glyos System Series Visual Guide will also debut later this week that chronicles everything that we have been doing since the last SDCC. It contains all our artwork, photos and piles of sketches as well as a few interesting takes on the Glyos characters by some of our very talented friends. Like a big art book. Should be a crazy week.

Masked Scar Pheyden

While messing around with some "pleather" this little mask/scarf thingy was created for ol' Scar Pheyden. Guess he is Scarfed Pheyden now. Also got some solid final test shots for the production Scar Pheyden and he is looking pretty neat.
