DeleteThis drop will be my personal birthday present to myself... I love the extra paint work and subtle color tones on these two, and I'm happy to see standard Pheydens again. I love the Skeleden, but we've gotten so many that it's nice to see the regular Travelers again.

Roy -Have you ever checked out the art of Frank Frazetta? His color selections and style influenced some of what you'll see in this wave. That, and a little Mythic Legions color theory as well!

I'm excited to see what is in store for this drop, these figures look really cool. Matt is this the first time a Pheyden has had detail lines around it's eyes? That look seems new to me.
ReplyDeleteWell some people are having birthdays, my wife Beth and I will be celebrating 8 years of being a couple this Tuesday! So the summer of 2007 was a big year for us too.
Here's to another 8 years of Glyos Matt! I can't wait to get my son Tobias into it when he is old enough, that will be fun. :-D

DeleteWe have done detail lines around the eyes before, but these seem to pop a bit more than usual due to the contrasting colors.
