  2. Nice to see a return of Glyaxia! The word "rangers" has gotten my mind racing with possibilities. And there was some art a few months back from a certain other glyos line that showed someone in the Glyaxia colorway...so I think it's a pretty good assumption that there will be a crossover hopping into the drop perhaps?

    1. There will be a crossover, but maybe not exactly what you're expecting, color-wise.

  3. Glyaxia, yess!!! One of my favorite colorways making a return at last, I'm excited to see what this drop holds!

  4. Interesting for so many reasons~ That's a very Runmaru blue. If that's going to be in the drop, I may have to pick up some Axis Joints!

    1. This new blue PVC is definitely closer to Runmaru. I imagine it as a true "Real Type" Glyaxia Blue. Different than Metran and the original Glyaxia blues.

It's true that I will always love Real Type colors more than I probably should. It's the combination of all those 80's Microman catalogs, Gundam MSV kits, Spiral Zone figures and Robotech boxes that did it!

    2. Speaking of MSV kits, dude... the HGUC line is showing us a LOT of love lately. I've got an Efreet Custom coming in the mail, we're getting Gyan Kriger, Gundam Pixie... it's a good time to be a builder, Matt~

    3. Personally, I'll forever love the 08th MS Team armor designs. It was fun for that small period of time when you could get a wide variety of Gundam stuff at major retail. I customized dozens and dozens of the USA release MSIA figures.

Man, did I love those little guys.

    4. Gouf Custom, baby. 'Nuff said.

  5. By any chance will glyaxia command add a female counterpart to the ranks? Something of an outerspace crossover?

    2. :D awesome! Thanks for the reply. I bet there are a few travelers in some snow caves hoping for inferno. ;) See ya thursday.

    3. The Glyaxia Rangers are definitely having a hard time freeing themselves from the guest star's energy charged tentacles.

  6. Hmmm, with the return off a symbol like that, might we be getting some new Glyaxia vinyl? Rig, Armodoc, been a while since theres been a Core Block. Also with a word like "Rangers" this could be leaning towards the homage variety of drops, or are we talking primary colored troop building mayhem?

    1. This specialized division of Glyaxia is focused on dealing with trouble that goes beyond the normal spectrum of threats. With a more subdued and tougher "Real Type" look, the Glyaxia Rangers bravely represent Metran Law in places where there are no traces of it.

No vinyl this time, but a small selection of Glyaxia Rangers themed figures and their full compliment of matching accessories will be on deck. The base PVC is run in a new darker blue that has a more militarized look. Beyond the Rangers there will be a couple other color combos available as well, to give them that next level of trouble!

You'll be seeing some connective themes emerging as we get into the early releases of 2018.

    2. Real Type Glyaxia?! Be still my heart! The real type drops remain my favorite so this will be VERY welcomed.

    3. Would some of that next level trouble perhaps be equipped with black core tech?

    4. No Armorvors this time (if that's what you meant), but things are in the works!

    3. Cool! Looking forward to seeing what colorways you come up with this, and next, month!

  8. Hmm... I know we already have Glyaxia Robo Force, but I'm hoping for new ones and some Zeroid action.

  9. What Garrett and mechanicoid asked, dare we fear (financially) a drop of mecha for the Glyaxia Rangers like Esedeth Mobile Patrol before?

    1. The Glyaxia Ranger assortment is modest this time, so we can feel out the the new colors.

They do look especially neat when battling figures shot in the Standard Villser hues.

    2. Will we be seeing any Villser's this round? Any chance for the eluded to Extra Set to make into this drop?

      Delete
    3. A couple Villser are a definite, but no extra parts just yet.

      Delete
    4. Awesome, That statement about the Villser standard colorway has got me thinking what a reverse of the Standard Villser would look like...also might be too soon, but I wouldn't mind seeing MKII of the Villser Standard, maybe in the build station?

    5. Your psychic abilities are working! MK II will be on deck, with some added paint applications and perhaps some matching Villser Virus controlled minions...

    6. Will we be getting a second round of Axis joints in the Standard Villser Green as well?

      Delete
    7. Matching Axis Joints and Phase Arm Sets in Villser green for accessories.

The lighter aqua paint has been slightly tweaked and is a little lighter this time, which I personally prefer, as it's now closer to the original "Standard" color concept of this figure.

The PVC is slightly richer and maybe a tad darker, which bumps the contrast up subtly, but at a glance it looks almost the same.

The newly painted extra areas (10 locations) also help define the various alternate forms a bit better.

We went a little heavier, order-wise, on this Standard MK II to try and keep it around for a bit, and juiced the run up with extra attention to that new paint.

Price remains the same, even with the added details.

    8. Excellent, sounds very exciting, interested to see what the addition of the new paint apps and the phase arm set will do for the Villser build. With the standard selling out so fast last round, I really appreciate the chance to score some more!
