Blizzard Business

Nature delivered another wild experience last Friday, dumping over 2 feet of snow and whipping 65 MPH winds across most of Massachusetts. It was a shoveling and plowing odyssey! The drifts alone were over 5 feet in our yard, and the big gusts created a snow comb over on our roof.

The snow delayed the shipping by a few days, but we are nearly done packing everything up now, and should have all orders from the last release out the door by tomorrow afternoon.

The next installment of the comic will pop up shortly as well!

  1. This is where your beard growing special abilities comes in handy. I sadly lack these special genes.

  3. You've really got to sculpt something onto those giant mounds by the door, Matt. They're just beggin' for it!

  4. Holy shit.
I can't even tell what it is you're trying to shovel, what you hope to accomplish in those glacial drifts. (Path to the chickens, I suppose...)
    Stay warm, Onell clan!

  6. That was a crazy storm! I was trapped in a hotel in Quincy, no power or heat, but riding my tricycle around the dark hallways was fun. ;)

  7. Reminds me of my 1st winter when I moved back to IA back in 2003! Oh, and most winters after that. Shovelin' sux, but, snow blowin' ain't bad...saves your back at least. Hope your back is ok bro! Hope the girlz, Michelle and you are at least havin' a little fun sledding, tossin' snowballs and making snow forts!

  8. Holy crap! O_O It's snow-a-palooza for all of us around here. Beth & I got slammed with a ton of snow from the same storm that bitch-slapped your state. Since we are on the north shore, or at least close to it, we got a whopping 32 inches of snow. Needless to say, going into the city for Toypacalypse & Toy Fair on Saturday & Sunday was a no-go. Plus, the inept town didn't even plow the roads, so now they're all bumpy, compacted-icey messes. A 5 minute ride to the train station this morning took us 45 minutes.

More snow is due our way Wednesday-to-Thursday but we'll have to wait & see. Glad everybody up there is okay & we'll have to arrange a 'Snow Date' for you guys to come down to NYC since Snowpocalypse screwed up the weekend's plans. Oh and you look very much like a viking in that first picture, or a grizzled mountain man. Either one is accurate.
