New pic added! The backpack comes off to form a hyper version of the Rhythemitter that the Crayhunters use to draw out the Crayboth.
The build is contained, except for the standard Traveler upper arms and thighs, which can also be used if you choose. The "arms' on the backpack can fold out as well. Lots of oddball options can be explored!
I kind of like the idea of these Travelers scooting around with ridiculously massive mongo packs, leading various creatures into the open with hypnotic pulsing rhythms!
I love you, Matt :D
ReplyDeleteCool new Axis Traveler build! How's the back of the backpack look, though?

Thanks for the pic! Two of each color Axis Joint set, then? Groovy!
DeleteDiggin' the story behind it, too. Guess wearing it on the back makes a little more sense than holding it over the shoulder at this scale...
How does the backpack attach? Do the travelers now have a back peg too?
DeleteHate to double-comment, but I have to ask... will there be Rig Crew Axis Joints in this drop? Oh please say yes.
ReplyDelete100%! As well as Swing Joints, Phase Arms and Hub Sets.
DeleteThanks Dex!
Rig Crew Phase Defenders and other accessory set Contained Builds? Nice!
DeleteThen allow me to repeat myself - I LOVE YOU, MATT!!
DeleteThat build is killer. How many axis joints would I need to get to make that?
ReplyDeleteHa ha, the question is moot. I obviously need to start saving up for the Rig Crew drop instead.
So Crayhunters use pulses to draw out Crayboth the way Fremen use thumpers to call on Sand Worms. Neat!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I like that visual: craythumpers used to draw out Super Crayboth!
DeleteThat's funny. I've been planning a "Fremen Pheyden" custom for a while now. Just gotta gather some parts.
DeleteLooks great so far! How about a Voss Noboto, Matt??
