Thanks Joseph! Been working on this assortment for some time. The subtle color pairings of the different PVC and painted browns (three hues) actually took a few tries to nail down.
Hey Dex! The main new brown has a little less red in it, possessing more of a slight caramel tint to its hue (different than the lighter Noboto brown from 2013). You can still build with the old Rig Crew parts pretty well using this new color.
This assortment actually has two brown PVC colors on tap, with the second darker tint appearing on Traveler Klace's upper arms and thighs and also on another Traveler type figure.
Two real-type releases in a row! I'm eager to see how this brown pairs with the Grayeen from last drop. Wonder if we'll see any pre-built rigs besides the usual standard...
Very pumped for this release!!

DeleteThey look fantastic! I'm a big fan of the darker more military colors like this and those grays fit the rig perfectly!
DeleteLooks like the Rig Crew has some Glyan reinforcements. How closely does this new Rig Crew brown match the older version?

"...another Traveler type figure."
DeleteIs there some reason you couldn't just throw a name out there, Matt? :suspicious eyes:
More photos new release!!! :)

ReplyDeleteWoot!!! I'm loving the colors in this wave, and perfect timing too -
ReplyDeleteBirthday money well spent!
The new Travelers look solid, Matt. A nice contrast with the grays of the Rig.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of: good to see the alternate arms on the one in the background!
