Hey Joseph! The orange on the Glyclops is just a smidgen more saturated than the previous Pyrotellica, but it is also extra rich where the armor is double deep. By this I mean that the slide on armor parts have an extra bit of density when in place over the base Traveler body.
The background also pops everything as well. There's a lot of clear orange on the set!
There are few Glyarmor based figures, a Neo Granthan and a few small surprises on deck for tonight.
Most of the color selections in this wave are tributes to things we love around here. There's one in particular that's pretty obscure, but I think fans of old Mega Drive games might appreciate it. It's a real 1995 "Treasure".
Well this is a tough one because the Glyclops was already cool enough to use but now this Varteryx head matches it. That silver beak looks great.
As for the surprises I'd say another Exile is fairly possible but I'm a bit more interested in the other Glyarmored figures and tributes. If one tribute is who I think then the Varteryx head would fit perfectly for it, especially if battling Vilser mutated monstrosities.
THE PHEONIX RISES FROM DEEP WITHIN NEMICA?!?!?
ReplyDeleteIs this orange a little richer than the pyrotellica Granthan? It seems to be a little more saturated.

Wow, that is gorgeous. I can't wait to see more from this drop. About how many new figures are we looking at tonight?
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael!

I'm excited to see what you save in store. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!
DeleteLoving this colour way and the glyclops is awesome!
