  2. Is that the same whitish pvc as the first Pheyaos?

    1. This is a "grayer" light whitish PVC.

These colors are actually based on the very first original sofubi edition that Mori did, with the new multi-colored stomach area represnting the different sprays that Goto applied to that old release.

Mori and I would often discuss what the "Standard" form of Pheyaos might look like when we started working out the character details, and we always vacillated between the light gray or a half blue and half green color split design (Mori also produced this style in vinyl as well). We still go back and forth about it to this day!

  3. That's a cool torso detail. Almost like it has a little "fire in the belly," so-to-speak...

  4. Really slick! It gives off a nice volcanic vibe with the chest coloration and gray paint.

  5. As others have said, is that white or does it match the recent classic Maxx Grey?

    1. This Pheyaos is a "grayer" light gray, as opposed to the cooler light hue of the Enigma release.

Maxx gray has more warmth in the mix.

    2. Got it. The paint used made me think it might be an exact match for the '80s hero given his chest piece.
