As the broken husk of the once great hunter falls to ruin, the trapped ghosts of his many slain enemies twist and claw from the prison of his lifeless and empty armor, now content in their doom to serve an eternal watch... over Halkenn's Grave.
Special thanks to our brother (figurative and literal) John Beaudette, one half of our in-house band Arcade Rats, for creating the monstrous boss fight theme for Halkenn's final stage!
Oh man. Oh god.
ReplyDeleteNot my boy!
ReplyDeletePress "F" to pay respects.
DeleteDamnit Doughty, how much more of my money do you need??? This is thee Halloweenest of Halloween drops, a drop so epic in nature that it breaks the space time continuum and throws all of us back in time 1 week to Halloween night.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, that's what I've been waiting for
ReplyDeleteAlso- what have you unleashed upon the universe Matt? This thing is the spawn of a thousand nightmares. o_O
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a big surprise...
ReplyDeleteIt's like BrundleFly, the Thing, and the Chestburster all rolled into one!
ReplyDeleteTake my money
ReplyDeleteAny fish head this round?
ReplyDeleteThere should be an Armorvor head pack matched to the gargoyle. Check Matt's comment on that post to confirm.
DeletePoor Halkenn :(
ReplyDeleteI miss the days when we got a list of what was in the drop
ReplyDeleteYeah that was helpful with budgeting and planning what to buy. Did Matt ever say why they don't anymore?
DeleteIt was very helpful getting a budget set. I don't think it was ever stated why the Mission Details were stopped
DeleteNot sure if you have listened to Jesse Destasio's podcast, but his first interview with Matt, it's explained that he just started dreading having to put together those lists. So he decided he was done doing them.
DeleteWhile Halkenn's passing is not entirely unexpected, it's still a downer.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, is Cane now going to have to go track this thing down?
Why mourn the loss of Halkenn? Rejoice in his re-birth!
ReplyDeleteLONG LIVE THE NEW FLESH!
DeleteThis message brought to you by Cronenburgers, where our motto is "there's a lot of us in our burgers."
DeleteLame joke, and I know it's four days after the fact, but that artwork at the top of this post seriously freaks me out in the best ways. It's like a badass album cover. Way to go, Ralph!
