Journey On Nemica 6

  1. Great pic! Enjoying this winterscape journey. My action figures spent plenty of time in snowdrifts (Canadian eh?)

  2. These are getting better and better, I thought nothing would top the ice stalagmite pics but this just might. Awesome!

  3. This looks like one of the 8-bit scenes almost! The sparkle on the snow is perfect!

  4. I'm kind of expecting the final photo to be him reaching the gate of Wally World and seeing the Closed sign.

  5. This is one of my most favorite Glyos pictures ever. He could be anywhere...the frozen plains of Nemica or even the side a comet drifting in deep space...crossing through some rift in space time.. It captures the adventure and other world atmosphere that make Glyos so great.

  6. This series of photographs has really been a study on isolation, hasn't it?

At first, we see Neo Sarvos walking among these snowy dunes and giant spires of ice, and there's this sense of wonder. What is this Traveler searching for? How will it compare to the vastness of its surroundings? It's a mystery, but a mystery surrounded by winter's beauty.

But as time goes on, it becomes as clear as the ice that surrounds the Neo Sarvos: there is no one else here. And in this shot, where the horizon is endless and the sky empty of stars, there is a sense perhaps of desperation, perhaps of loneliness. When will these travels end? And will the Traveler even make it to its destination? And, worst of all . . . who would even know?

(Granted, it could just be leading us to a teaser for whatever the next drop will be, so maybe I'm reading a little too deeply into everything...)

    1. Thanks for the comments on this shot! It was taken in the dead of night, right after one of our recent storms. The toughest part was getting the figure in position without disturbing the fresh snow. I like the idea that a Traveler sometimes teleports and sometimes walks, based on the journey.

Great write up, Roy! There is an end to this particular quest, leading up to a small round of new stuff coming this Tuesday night.

Many things are buried under the snow and ice of Nemica...

    3. No mission details, but the majority of the figures will appear here on the blog leading up to the launch.

    4. Gotcha, though it may be nerve racking for us, it does build a hype and excitement leading up to the drop. Plus being a newb I've been enjoying the trickle of story elements surrounding the drop.

    5. I would especially love to know the back story behind the Bio Paralyzer Glyarmor.
