Metamorphic Lifeform Villser

Traveling beyond the Zorennor Rift from their secret homeworld of Odravunn, the newly evolved Metamorphic Lifeform Villser follow the primitive call of their long lost brethren, imprisoned across space and time in the distant Glyos System.

Passcode Playthrough

In celebration of officially hitting the 10 year mark, we've put together a special Passcode Playlist that covers almost every entry in the series!

Creating each installment was always a labor of love, even when finishing things would take hours or days longer than expected (like the Glyaxia Incident of 2010). For anyone that may not have completed a game, or wants to rewatch the stories on the big screen, there is now over an hour of video to stream on YouTube.

Extra special thanks to our friend Rich Vreeland, whose music became not only the soundtrack, but the inspiration for many moments throughout the series.

Michelle, Matt and I are SUPER excited to debut the new figure tomorrow. There will not be a new Passcode this time, but check back for big reveals leading up to the launch tomorrow night at 9:30 PM ET!

721-10-15

Today marks 10 years of production Glyos, and 15 years of marriage between Michelle and I (we've been together going on 20 years). It's generic to say that the time has flown by, but it's hard not to have that feeling. Thank you for a decade of true freedom and for traveling with us down this creative path. When I time jump to the future and try to look back on these years with wiser eyes, it becomes even more clear how special this has all been.

We'll be having our 10th anniversary release on August 3rd, to make sure our latest creation can make it for supper. Starting today and leading up to the launch, we'll be posting sneaks that focus on what's in store.

Thanks a million from Michelle, Marc and I for a truly great decade. Who knows, maybe we can all squeeze in another 10 together!

Thank You!!!

Thank you for the great release last week! It's always a gamble when we put a weird spin on something familiar, but the Glyknights generally seemed to click pretty well. It's been in the works for a while to run some production capes, and things luckily fell into place for it to finally happen with this wave. The capes have been designed to accommodate just about any standard Glyos figure, and if you guys dig them, we may offer capes separately down the road.

Glyknights need powerful adversaries, so based on your emails and comments the additional armor on Skeleden is something that you'd like to see again, so we'll be covering those Traveler limbs even more in the future. Skeleden's little Skullboto soldiers took us by surprise, with one of the quickest sellouts that the Noboto mold has seen since its debut in 2013. We'll absolutely be revisiting the Skullboto concept again before the year is over (Halloween is a definite -Ghoulboto).

Based on the performance of this recent sale, detail lined versions of select figures will start to be offered moving forward. The Skeleden Standard MK II DX saw a limited production run and sold fairly well. Let's see how this experiment goes and maybe we can start to open the catalog up a bit more.

On the shipping front, we've been steadily working away to get all the packages out (just Michelle and I on shipping detail this time) and we're close to finished. Only the internationals and orders that came in over the holiday and today remain (but will hit the post later today and first thing tomorrow morning). You've kept us busy and it's very appreciated!

Behind the scenes, we've been buzzing away to finalize something extra special for our 10th anniversary release, which is set to launch at the end of this month. Many years have been spent preparing for this character's arrival, and it's taken a lot of effort for it to truly manifest. Expect some posts about its development and history as we get deeper into July.

Thanks again for welcoming the latest round into the fold! It was a super turnout and we're forever grateful to have the freedom to do this. As always it's 100% because of you!

Bio-Masters: Wave 3

Cosmic Dungeon Master, Pat Bussey, currently has the third wave of his awesome Bio-Mass Monsters available now, over in his updated store.

Inspired by TSR's legendary Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and continuing the fantasy themed month of June across the sister Glyos companies, Pat's latest assortment is loaded with awesome colors and three special "Dark Fortress" builds (one of which even includes a "Contaminated" Hub Set).

Being able to watch Pat's creative process once again has been a blast, as he really does sink a lot of effort into the accompanying illustrations and story elements of his launches to flesh things out. Pat even constructed a scratch built set for his pics! A true passion project, all the way.

Killer work, Pat! Everything about this round is a knockout!

Bit Figs: Wave 6

The new wave of Bit Figs is available now at the Culture Pirates shop!

Mega Bit Pheyden Cosmic Wave Starcrosser is not only the first to feature special effects plastic and the new belt paint app, but these figures were run in a lower durometer for extra pliability. In hand they have a softer "minifig" feel, similar to the old Japanese Keshi lines. A limited number of unpainted sets are available as well.

Also in store is the debut of Animal Series 2: Marine Bit Figs! Five all-new coastal characters are available now in mystery 5-packs. They'll be floating around vending machines nationwide this summer where you'll have the chance to score a super rare deluxe painted figure!

Rounding things out is the second series of enamel pins, featuring new colors for Iken and Oni. We've also restocked the original glow-in-the-dark Glyos Button Set 1.

As a special thank you to all early supporters, here's a limited time offer:

Enter discount code COSMICWAVE at checkout for 20% off any order $25 and up! Expires this Friday 6/9 at midnight.

Battle Tribes: Wave 7

Some major expansions are happening in the Battle Tribes universe tonight!

Make sure to head over to the Spy Monkey Creations store and check out the awesome new characters that Jeremy, Brian and Matt have brought to life! Special shout out to the talented Pat Bussey for his collaborative work with the SMC crew on these all new designs.

Huge congratulations to the SMC team on a truly great evolution of the Battle Tribes line!

Destroy Babylon - Shapeshifters

Today is the official release of Shapeshifters, the latest full length album from Destroy Babylon!

This is our first DB record in six years, and so much has changed with the band (and the world) since. We expanded into a six piece with the addition of vocalist Kellee Webb, keyboardist Casey Gruttadauria and Rob's brother Sean Carmichael taking over on bass. Rob & Sean are Irish twins, making DB possibly the first band to have TWO sets of twin brothers. I point this out because it truly is something special to be part of a project with such deep connections. The core group has been making music together for 20 years now, yet we still relish in the process of playing and experimenting with sounds. Many of these songs were worked over numerous times before we settled on the final version, and some have been in our live set for years, helping us turn in our tightest batch of tunes to date. Our producer Craig Welsch also had a huge hand in pushing the band forward, and we really embraced our love of post-production effects this time around. Turn the lights low and volume up, this one goes deep!

We've never settled into one genre, and our mission since our first record has been to not only challenge the many oppressive forces of society (see: Babylon), but to also defy conventional labels in our industry. I'm super proud of this one and hope some of you will dig it.  -Marc

Marc and I spend just as much time talking about music as we do games and toys, maybe even more so. The constant flow of great new tunes streaming across the web lends itself to some major discovery sessions, as a seemingly endless array of soundscapes pop up on a daily basis. It goes without saying that we've shared a ton of music over the years.

When it comes to the music that Marc and DB create (and the variety of side projects he and his brother John work on), I'm admittedly a huge and fairly biased fan. There's a certain intangible element to actually knowing the person who is sharing a creative endeavor with you that makes it extra special. It's even better when that shared work is actually amazing.

I've spent many, many late nights in the barn, working until morning light, accompanied only by select music blaring from a small speaker tethered to an ancient wall outlet. Though some might find the experience lonesome, it never feels that way to me. When those tunes are coming from people that you call family, it's hard to feel anything but good, and DB once again makes sure of that.

Marcus and the Music ADD collective are still telling their story for all of us to hear, and Shapeshifters is so worth the listen.  -Matt
