One More Day!

That says it all, we need one more to nail this thing. Marc and I have been cranking on this for weeks, and the finish line is here. We had a few last minute additions that we would not want you guys to miss. It seems to be our ritual to take it to the wire every damn time....but we love every minute of it. Thanks for staying in the delivery room for one more day. As was said before, this sucker is large!

I peed a little at seeing that glow shot!

  2. We all know it will be worth the wait Matt, I'm almost foaming at the mouth for this stuff by now. Any chance you might set an estimated time of drop for tomorrow? Even a late one so you know things will be ready, or at least a time when we can all start REALLY reloading and paying attention.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Matt and Marcus, honestly, thank you for taking one more day. I know I might be able to give a little more, klnowing that I'll be around to actualy snag some!

But in all honesty, guys, take all the time you need. One of the best things is knowing you guys never half-ass it. Keep it comin'!

    ReplyDelete
  4. *sigh* ok... monday... But WHEN!! I work until 4.. so don't do the drop until at LEAST 5.. please!

man, we're all dying for this! its going to be amazing

    ReplyDelete
  5. Yay! My Monday can't possibly be bad with a Glyos drop involved!

    ReplyDelete
  6. "Any chance you might set an estimated time of drop for tomorrow?"

    Seconded.

Those Armodocs look nicer and nicer every time I look at them. I just want the chance to get them before they sell out.

  7. "Any chance you might set an estimated time of drop for tomorrow?"

    Thirded...

As soon as you know EXACTLY when, let us know, because I'm loosing my hair waiting!

  8. Pow! Pow! Pow! Ka-BLOOOOOOOM!

  9. Hey guys, the drop is on track for tonight, hopefully early evening (EST). Marc and I are checking everything over so things go easy. We are using the new inventory control system (which we tried with the last Pheyaos Man release) so that should help a ton. Though it also means that keeping stuff in your cart for later purchases will not work anymore. This is the largest amount of product that we have put out at one time, so solid prep is essential to make it work right.
Thanks again for hanging in with us!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Thanks for letting us know Matt, exciting times!! Can't wait to get a go on the game!!! And then pick up some nice figs!

    The countdown begins....

    ReplyDelete
  11. very excited Matt, thanks for keeping us updated.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thanks for the update, Matt. Good luck!

  13. i hope they do not go to fast but i dont think they will be like with the old guys they brought back you know what i mean with the old pheydens and stuff like they are still heer im crossing my fingers sigh...

  14. Quick update, we are at the finish line. The final tweaks and trouble shooting are happening right now. As soon as the details are tight everything will be activated. It will be closer to midnight but if everything lines up it may be a bit earlier. Thanks guys! We are psyched for this one!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Thanks again for the update. Man, this sounds crazy...but so totally worth it! Good luck everyone! May the Force be with you all!

    ReplyDelete
  16. we'll be there... in for a penny, in for a pound (or in our case, more than $100)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Cool! I like the late night drops.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm psyched for this drop too Matt and am very curious to see exactly how many figures/items are going to be released in this drop aswell as what the game is. I got everything all set, all I need is for time to pass by faster. To help with this I've been watching movies. First up was 'The Black Hole' and presently I'm watching 'Clash of the Titans'. Next up might be 'the Rocketeer' as I got that in the dealer's room at I-Con this weekend and have
been waiting to watch it since Saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Dude! What the sand is going on? LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  20. It is now officially "close to midnight"... We need a status update!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Working out the last tweaks, inventory is loaded and all files are being tested. The game is done! It will spill over past midnight, more towards 1AM. Yeah, it's classic craziness, but we pushed the game (which is a full on Passcode) as hard as we could.
We are so thankful to all of you guys who are staying up with us for this launch. I feel the bonds between all of us get even stronger because we really share these experiences together. Marcus and I wanted to bring things up a notch on this one and hopefully we did.
I'll update as we close in on 1AM.
We will NOT sleep until this sucker is LIVE!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hope the server has bandwidth burstabily - the natives are getting restless....

    ReplyDelete
  23. Keep on rockin Matt n team!
We'll be here to reap the rewards!

    ReplyDelete
  24. So glad we are west coast! That's till only 10pm here!! Woo Hoo!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Its 12:50pm on this "coast" (time for lunch...)

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's 11:50PM. I have a Calc exam in the morning. I have no intentions of sleeping.
We're all over here waiting on the wave Matt, I'm sure it will be amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  27. We should all get Glyos tattoos to represent our strong bonds, not unlike soldiers in the military or the cast of LOTR.

    ooo wah ah ah ah!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. oh, we are restless and wont sleep until we get our glyos. work will suck tomorrow... erm, today.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Given my evening, I'll just get the chance to slip on around 1:00 or so, but keep on keepin' on, true believers!

Thanks for the update again, Matt! Good luck, guys!

    ReplyDelete
  30. hmm... what WOULD be a good group tattoo? maybe we should have jesse and matt come up with something...

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think a Scar Pheyden head would be pretty hardcore.

    ReplyDelete
  32. how about the imprint of f5 on our index fingers lol if only hand tattoos didn't fade fast.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Only if the tattoo was a symbol that was to be on a Glyos fig...then I'd consider.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I just wrote a little F5 on my index finger in Sharpie. That's how much I care!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Or maybe just a Scar Pheyden scar... Too hardcore? Too Harry potter?

    ReplyDelete
  36. which Harry Potter? the one from the books or the one from the movie Troll?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I got 12:46. Lilmissmeg is the wife. I'm Quacky Zach the Gylos Maniac. Just finished my first real build. It's great!! Need more Gylos. Hurry!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hang in there! SO Damn close! The uploading is a little slow (of course) but we are in the process as I write this. Marc's eyes are about to bleed! I'll update again in a little bit. You guys are giving us the juice to power through! Time to reset the server..

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hey Matt, Wake Phil up and have him witness this LMAO!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I would like to propose a toast! To Matt and Marcus, creative visionaries and toy messiahs, may your steps never falter, hands never waiver, and vision never blur, while you labor at bringing us the toys. Cheers! *downs glass*

    ReplyDelete
  46. The suspense is building LoL. I'm still awake though and ready to roll! Me & Beth are here waiting Matt & Co.! :-D

    ReplyDelete
  47. Here here!

Wow, 50 comments now. O_O! Is this the most a blog entry has gotten to date Matt?

    ReplyDelete
  48. When I was a kid we used to have to camp out in the middle of the night in the snow to buy our toys... you whippersnappers don't know how good you got it ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Just got home from work. Looks like perfect timing!! Can't wait!!

    @datadub

I know huh? No waiting in line for new toys to drop at the local toy store for us! Just a button click away. :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. More like 30,000 refresh clicks away

    ReplyDelete
  51. F5 meant you were kicked out of the navy for marrying a coconut

    ReplyDelete
  52. F5 was a light fighter jet from Northrop during the cold war

    ReplyDelete
  53. F5 was shorthand for Factsheet Five - THE bible for fanzine culture

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  57. Bah, you guys not over on EST don't understand, the sleep depravity, the droopy eyes, the sore index fingers from spamming the refresh bu- Okay, maybe you do know that one... POINT BEING! It's late over here on the East coast.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Late on the East Coast, it's 6.40 AM here in the UK :P and I've been mashing F5 since midnight :P

    Noc

    ReplyDelete
  59. What's the hold up here? Let's get this show on the road!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Easily, the most comments in Glyos history.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'm giddy with excitement!

    OOH WAH AH AH AH!

    ReplyDelete
  62. It's been an hour... what's going on here?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Just chill out man, it'll happen...tho some kinda update is not undue.

    ReplyDelete
  64. The Onell team seem to be real perfectionists when it comes to these releases, this means that it won't "go-live" until it's perfect. So it can take a little longer than expected, but the end result is always awesome and well worth the wait! The longer it takes the better the overall result!

    ReplyDelete
  65. they passed out right as they were going for the upload button lol :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. The server crashed they need to start from scratch

    OH GOD IMAGINE

    ReplyDelete
  67. BY THE GRIDGE OF ZAKNOC! We're up to A LOT of comments now.

And I believe your right about it being the most comments in Glyos history NiStuff.

    ReplyDelete
  68. If that happened I would scream so much that everyone would go back in time so that the server doesn't crash.

    ReplyDelete
  69. someone just fly around the earth super fast going forward to make the drop happen sooner

    ReplyDelete
  70. FYI, John K is reporting another hour to go on the octobertoys forum...

    ReplyDelete
  71. throwing in the towel...was hoping for a drop soon, but gotta get some sleep and save some $$ for future drops.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I know this seems like a bastard of a thing, but just a little more -as in an hour. We're both busting ass to get all the parts loaded up. To help speed things along when it goes live we've added "skip" buttons to the game so you can make your way right to the secret stuff at the end and play the game when it's not crazy hour. As with anything worth doing, it has to be done right, and we will not stop until it is up. I hope the wild nature of this is at least slightly exciting. We won't let you guys down.

    ReplyDelete
  73. huzzah! no worries ive already texted my boss about my tardiness!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Awesome thanks for the update
    cant wait
    Matt you are the best

    ReplyDelete

    Noc

    ReplyDelete
  76. Always exciting
    I LOVE GLYOS
    sleep deprivation is bad LOL

    ReplyDelete
  77. No worries Matt. Always the best is put out by you guys and We really appreciate it. Thank you for the updates and dedication to us :). Ni did I see 2:30 formanchies??? Mmmm

    ReplyDelete
  78. I'm sure these guys are really putting in the extra effort and doing everything possible to get it up, but man...

This evening when they said it would be closer to midnight rather than evening, that was a slight inconvenience.

At midnight when they said 1:00am, that was kind of pushing it.

At 1:00am when they said there's another hour to go still, that's asking too much for too many.

This just isn't working out for some of the most diehard Glyos fans . It's unfortunate that people who stayed by their computers from the early afternoon all the way up to 2:00am still might not get the figures they wanted because of all these delays.

Great work on the figures, truly, but not so great work on the timing of this thing.

I'm in it for the long haul, but I truly feel for those who had to drop out. It's just such a sad thing to see...

    Glyos train coming around the
    mountain and it's almost here!

Hoowee! the excitement is increasing :D

    ReplyDelete
  81. @Matt - see previous comment about snow

    ReplyDelete
  82. Whats that about 2:30 am formanchie sammiches?

    ReplyDelete
  83. @datadub

The difference is that the stores never told you they would open at a certain time, then every hour on the hour tell you that opening will be pushed back another hour.

I'm still excited for this drop, don't get me wrong, I don't mean to be hatin' on the guys at Onell or anything, just giving my two cents about the whole situation.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Sounds like everybody is a little on edge
but i am sure all will be well
and when its over we will be glad we stuck it out
    dont stress brothers

    ReplyDelete

  86. (Different Matt here. Ninjanaut on the forums).

I'm still excited. I think that staying up has really contributed to the community. It's definitely been a creative catalyst for me.

    ReplyDelete

    Save me some guys!! :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  98. The real Matt has a blue crayboth, don't get excited, I'm just the same old complaining Matt.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I'm feeling a lot of things now, but merry isn't one of them. I feel tired, anxious, excited, disappointed, confused, tired, hopeful, and tired... but not merry.

We need more Matt's (at least 1 more in particular that I can think of ;))

    ReplyDelete
  100. If any Matt starts selling glyos soon, I might just start buying. I'm about to start buying toys from the bath mat in my shower. I mean, it'll be real convenient when I face plant into it while trying to clean myself because I stayed up too late.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Seriously: When? If it's going to be an hour let us know. It's not right to just keep us all (what's left of us anyway) in the dark.

    When is this happening?

    ReplyDelete
  102. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I been over at the forum answering questions and keeping the updates coming. Matt, I'm sorry this has been rough on you, it's been rough on us as well. Part of doing business here is that we are not always going to hit every deadline, as much as it sucks. If I could have increased the speed I would have done that instantly. Marc and I have been uploading this beast and hammering out all the bumps. If this kind of thing bothers you to much you may be in the wrong area, it's crazy here! Seriously, I'm sorry for the delays, but we're scrambling here to finish. i hope you still get a tiny charge when it does appear (and you are gray haired and I'm in the ground). Try to have a small laugh about it, I guarantee you would chuckle if you saw the level of sweat pouring out of two overtired nerds. Chin up!

    ReplyDelete
  104. trying to stick around
    but i am damn tired
    L8ER brothers

    ReplyDelete
  105. It's cool, I understand how things don't always go to plan. Most of my apparent angst is just the lack of sleep talking.

We've been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting. We just want to know when this thing is going to be available... Is it looking like minutes, hours, days? What's the forecast?

    ReplyDelete
  106. Anyone still up? I guess it was a good thing I decided to go to bed and get up early to see if anything was left...I read through all (well most) comments and I still support everything going on. Since its still not up I guess I can go exercise and check in a little later. Matt (the real one not the 100 others :o) Hang in there we all know you guys are doing everything you can!!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hey David, Beth & I are still up (although she may be tapping out in a few minutes). I'm past the point of no return but don't want to go to bed cause I know as soon as I pass out, they'll go on sale LoL.
