Glyanaut
This one is very simple, but has a real NASA vibe going on. I like the idea of a basic astronaut that can journey around and stay safe within the confines of his spacesuit. There are probably tons of snacks in his gigantic backpack (and maybe a little bit of oxygen as well).

WOW!
ReplyDeleteFantastic Build! A truly well proportioned humanoid figure that doesn't rely on traveler/buildman type construction!
Well done bro!
J
Another great build
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that this config is made up of a few bean-bot parts, a few buildman parts, and some axis joints. Very clever build using minimal parts. I love minimalism that has style. Definitely building a few of these for the shelf.
ReplyDeleteProbably full of Astronaut Ice Cream!
ReplyDeleteOh whoa this build is freaking amazing Matt, I love the look of it. It reminds me of the pilot astronauts from Fisher-Price's old Space Construx toyline. Now I need to make some when I get more axis joints. You totally need to make a Glyanaut in black, gray and give it a red, orange or purple visor. That'll look sharp!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid my big brother made me a ''space backpack'', formed from two large pieces of polystyrene packing and parcel tape. The first thing I put on it for my moon adventures was food. Thanks for reminding me of that memory!
ReplyDeleteExcellent build, too!
You are gifted. Awesome build.
ReplyDeleteVery cool little guy you made here.
ReplyDeleteWill he have have a role in the Glyos mythos?
I hope this guy gets sold as a special build.
ReplyDeleteThis is, like, the innocent essence of childhood: no guns, no fighting, just a big spacesuit, a big imagination, all set to go exploring.
ReplyDeleteThis is just awesome, Matt.
Really liking the look of this one. Shows just how much range this line now has due to a few more parts! Keep the great stuff coming!
ReplyDeleteWould it be possible to put a list in the article of what parts are needed to make the awesome builds you show?
I can't stop thinking about this build. It's so simple, compact and elegant.
ReplyDeleteThe more I see it, the more I want that delicious clear blue. It really goes so beautifully against the white pieces.
ReplyDeleteFull Steam ahead !!!!
ReplyDeleteThey look great just like the blue marine like figures a while back. Are they going to be available in stores again?
