Space Walk

These shots were taken in front of a piece of black poster board that I poked about 1000 holes into. Then I set up 4 lights with different filters behind the paper. Two more lights were set up in the front with filters and then the sets and figures.

The Edgeliner Delphi is Rechlen's ship, used by his family for 13 generations. It had a very different purpose in a former life.

On the shipping front, I got a solid batch of stuff out today and will be hustling all week, packing right into the weekend. I'm psyched for this stuff to get to you guys and the building to begin!

  2. Are Aulders coming too? So much stuff!
The Edgliner Delphi set you made looks great.
Can't wait to get my hands on a Glip. And on the stuff coming in the mail. Thanks again, Matt.

  3. I am loving seeing all the original stuff!

Totally reminds me of the way Birnkrant made the sets for the OSM packaging.

Makes me want to get around to building my asteroid drilling rig.

Awesome that stuff is going out already! We can't wait to build!

  4. I love the space rain picture!

Any chance we could get a higher-resolution image? I'd love to frame that one.

  7. I've beenmeaning to ask: are those a second set of limbs on the Aulders, or are they some form of wings?

Also, still love that shot with the Glip. Different posterboard, or did you move it while taking the shot?

  10. Ahh, fun with minimalism. The old Rechlen & Aves figures have a sort of "time-before-time" feel to them. They look more gritty and stark than the somewhat cartoon, "Zen: Intergalactic Ninja" feel of the current Glyos toys.
