It would be so kewl to see all the different drops' incredible bases you have built all in one photo! Probably would have to be in a large black floor/wall studio (like space). You should clear out the barn and paint that back storage area all black and make the largest toy photo shoot area ever!!!
This is truly an epic base! I love the use of switch pins, and the idea of a transforming giant ship with something inside it. I've been contemplating building a ship with an interior since the tri hubs came out..
glad you showed me just how that might be possible!
I will probably wait to take the plunge on such a massive vinyl order until a colorway of my favorite color makes an appearance.
Have you considered making a piece (vinyl or PVC) that could function as a "command chair" for glyos to sit in and pilot things, monitor screens, etc? I think that (and perhaps an accompanying "computer" type doodad) would be awesome!
The Phaseon Evolver is an amazing little build. It took some time to figure it out from the earlier shots, but that's what I've always loved about building toys. The thrill of figuring out alternate builds, with no instructions given, has always been my favourite thing about LEGO and Glyos.
That's pretty clever with the cut up switch pins. I'll have to get some and try that!
ReplyDeleteYeah that works so well - have fun tonight !!
