Travel Channel

Without further ado, here's the first installment of The Council of Travelers. Huge, HUGE thanks to Ralph Niese for coming through with some brand new artwork and illustrating our little story in time for tonight's launch. We have some cool things planned for 2013 that may land a book in your hands.

  3. GO, RALPHY!!!! You are channeling a SERIOUS Alex Nino vibe here, my man! I love how each piece of the story you've done has shown a different facet of your artistic character! Keep it coming!

Matt... you rock, man! One of the best comics yet! It's nice to see the Travelers baring their teeth! Just when we assume we know what's going on you kick us in the nuts and show us something new! Keep it coming!

  4. ...

I'm almost speechless... That was insane! Ralph did an amazing job on this! Please tell me you're going to keep going with this story arc.I love the old comic stylings and it definitely lends itself to the storytelling. Kudos on the comic and the crazy drop that preceded it!

  5. Read this like six times now, my favorite of the comics so far! Delphi making an appearance and Phanost in the shell were magnificent.

The only problem with media like this is seeing after the drop (so that a bunch of things have already sold out). Would have planned on a couple different character upgrades to better match the legion for instance.

  6. Please let there be a book collection of all the Glyos comics. I would be ecstatic if this happened.

  7. Wow! This comic is mind blowing, I like the pace of the story so much, and that vignette with Phanost gave me goosebumps!
I love SO MUCH when a new comics appears along with a new drop, it makes you know and care about the toys you're going to buy.
Can't wait to hear more about the book!

  8. Crikey. Something tells me that I should've seen that particular twist coming. "Naspoth," indeed.

The comic is fantastic! Ralph's work is stellar, and really need to become a regular feature here. Not to mention how great it's been to see the evolution of storytelling in Glyos, from the very first issue of Gear's Edge until now. Keep up the great work!

  9. Incredible, simply incredible! These comics, though few and far between, are definitely one of the best part of the Glyos universe.

Plus, even though it was only for a brief panel, seeing a Hi-Phaseon Strike Form in a comic definitely brightened up my day!

  11. "It's not that easy!" = Most badass line and reveal glyos has had ever! Phanost is my favorite, and now he's even more of a super badass to boot... awesome.

Great drop, I got more than I planned... which is starting to become the plan, more often than not! Thanks as always, looking forward to DELPHI!

  13. ZZhocka-POW! That Syclodoc Neutralizer sure
knows how to vaporize some butt. My favorite
panel is the one where the Syclodoc Neutralizer
shoots its eye ray at the Council Guards.
    VREEEEEEE!
